HIRBOD Steel Zarandieh Hirbod Steel Industries Company (Hirbod Steel) is one of the most complete complexes of steel production in Iran and Middle East. Hirbod steel has been operated in Mamounieh Industrial Town located at Zarandieh city of Markazi province in 2012, following convergent and continuous supply pattern of an agile and dynamic chain and providing lean thought of entrepreneurship in Iran within private sector investment. Current capacity of this complex is over 2.2million tons per year. FactoriesHirbod Steel has concentrated in Zarandieh Hirbod Steel and Zarandieh Omid Arian Melting complexes. Zarandieh Hirbod Steel Industries Complex has composed of a rebar (Hot Rolling) and a profile and pipe manufacturing factory as well as two separated machineries plant. The space of interconnected halls is 8Hectares that has been constructed in a land spreading over an area of 35Hectares.

The structure of this integrated niche with weight of 7000 Tons is new of its kind in Iran. Weighbridges of 60 Tons, 40 overhead & gantry cranes and machineries for carrying raw materials and products, are used to support and render services to the complex. Moreover, Zarandieh Omid Arian Melting Industries Complex has composed an billet and rebar (Hot Rolling) manufacturing factories that are spread over an area of 14Hectares (8 Hectare for manufacturing hall).

Rebar Factory Hirbod Steel has composed of two separated rebar manufacturing factories that have been established in Zarandieh Hirbod Steel industries and Zarandieh Omid Arian Melting Industries Complexes and manufactures 1,200,000 Tons of different kinds of round and reinforcing bars.

Rebar Production Line Rebar production line has composed of a furnace with the capacity of 100 tons per hour and 18 joined vertical-horizontal stands together with DC motors, thermex, three shears including roughing shears, hot and cold shears, 80 meters cooling bed, two packing baskets along with four automatic knotting machine and automatic floor scale. During production process, steel billet are sent directly to pre-heated furnace by the crane equipped with magnet and heated up to rolling temperature (1100-1250º C). Then, the molten billets are directed to the manufacturing line and cooled immediately by thermex, passing through some pairs of rollers and after reaching to appropriate condition, they are heated up to almost 400º C. At the end, the cut rebar is transferred to cooling bed for final cooling and sheared in dimensions of 12 meters and then packed. Rebar

Rebar factory manufactures all sizes of round and reinforcing bar range from number 8 to 36 mm in A2 and A3 grades according to standard Din-Gost (A2,A3) (Equal to ISIRI No. 3132) by advanced technology. Rebars with a size of 8 and 10mm are manufactured in the form of four pieces, size of 12mm in the form of three pieces, sizes of 14, 16 and 18mm in the form of two pieces and other products are manufactured in the form of single piece and are packed in the form of bundle. Every package has a label containing all required specifications.

Melting Factory Hirbod Steel melting factory is located at Zarandieh Omid Arian Industry complex. The production line consists of 4 induction furnaces as well as a Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) that has produced various types of steel billets (alloy and non-alloy) from 100×100 to 150 × 150 mm in demanded lengths with capacity of 300,000 tons per year. Melting Factory Each furnace is equipped with a hydraulic system, the rotating mechanism to discharge molten and slag, water cooled high voltage cables, Oil-Filled high voltage capacitors, furnace hanger arms and furnace holder platforms and chassis. Also the factory is equipped with different support units that some of which consist of four cooling towers with capacity of 150 tons, 100,000 Liters capacity water tank of 28m height for supplying the water required for furnace and welding line, reverse osmosis system (RO System) with daily capacity of 225 cubic meter, cooling system and inside coil water pump.

Installations and Infrastructures Hirbod Steel is unique due to its energy infrastructures and installations. Zarandieh Hirbod Steel complex has an exclusive 63kv high voltage electricity substation, two gas substations with capacity of 25000 cubic meters per hour and water storage pools. Zarandieh Omid Arian Melting Industry Complex is equipped with an exclusive 20kv feeder creating 6700kW electricity as well as an exclusive water input with ¾ inch.
