The EXACT Tactics Used By 20 “Super Seller” Students To Build $1,000/Day Businesses At Lightning Speed… Hi, and THANKS for signing up to get this “secret” transcript!

What is this “secret transcript”? Where did it come from? Good questions! About 10 days ago, we (Steve and Aidan) held a secret meeting in Las Vegas, with 20 “Super Sellers” from our 100k Factory program. These are people who have all built

businesses using the 100k Factory method that earn over $1,000 per day… needless to say, they’re in the trenches working the system, and doing VERY well from it. We flew these folks in from all corners of the globe so that we could grill them to find out what secrets (if any) they’d used, and also which tactics from the 100k Factory program had proven most effective for them.

We also wanted to know about the ‘special sauce’ they’d applied to their businesses, and to figure out what everyone had in common. We really had no idea what to expect… after all, we’d never met these people before, all we knew is that they were getting results.

Phase 2 is about growing your business, and scaling up from $274/day. Everyone we invited to Las Vegas has progressed to Phase 2. We put them all in a room together, and just let everyone talk! They shared all the advanced tactics, tips, and tricks that have allowed them to

make tens of thousands (and in some cases hundreds of thousands) per month. And THAT is what this transcript is about… This document is basically a huge brain dump from 20 of our top students.

WARNING – Many of the tactics and strategies shared in this report are for experience sellers, and people who are already employing this business model. Most of this will not really make sense to people who aren’t doing this right now. But that’s ok! Let us show you how we can train you VERY easily so that you’ll be an expert too and you’ll be in this room the next time we do it!

Now that you’ve got a background for what this is about, let’s get started with some of the highlights from our discussion about Niche Selection!

Niche Selection One of the first topics we discussed with the “Super Sellers” was Niche Selection. Niche Selection has been the Achilles Heel for many enthusiastic online sellers for

decades… since the dawn of the internet. When it comes to the 100k Factory model, there are two schools of thought on the best way to approach things…

1. Using a super targeted niche 2. Using a broader niche (almost generic)

There are pros and cons to both… but BOTH work incredibly well. You just need to choose which path you want to go down! There is also however, an unconventional third option; the “demographic store”, which is not necessarily about a certain topic or not even that broad in scope. The

‘demographic store’ is an example of a hybrid approach leveraged by a couple of the Super Sellers…

The “Demographic” Store With a demographic store, instead of focusing on a niche or a topic, you focus on a particular audience in a certain demographic.

For example; women aged from 50 to 60 or 50 to 70. The idea of a demographic store is that people in certain demographics often l ike similar things. Demographic stores succeed by cross-selling lots of unrelated items to the same group of people.

Generic (also called ‘Broad’) store are a more common approach, let’s take a closer look at them…

The “Generic” Store A generic store sells almost anything. It’s like a mini-Walmart, online. Generic stores can be scaled without limit, we’ve seen generic stores that earn up to $1,000,000 or more per month.

The downside of Generic stores is that because they’re so broad in scope, they tend to have lower conversions, don’t get as many repeat visitors, and get fewer products purchased with each order (so normally a lower order value). Generic stores can work VERY well, we have plenty of these, but they’re not what we recommend people start with. If you’re just starting out, you’ll get faster results

by focusing on a “Super Targeted” niche store…

Super-Targeted Niche Stores

This style of store makes it easier to get a foothold in a marketplace. Super Targeted niche stores have higher conversion rates and earn more per order than broad/generic stores (as mentioned above). The downside of these types of stores is that they can ‘max out’…

Now, to put that in perspective, you might max one of these out at $400,000/year. It’s not like you’ll only get to $30,000 and won’t be able to grow, they’re still VERY lucrative!

If you are in the fortunate situation where you ‘max out’ a super-targeted niche stores earning potential, then you simply rinse and repeat. There are thousands and thousands of super targeted niches to target and market to.

Here are some of the characteristics of ‘Super-Targeted’ niche stores:

Products should fit within a tight niche, for example, “vegetable gardening” rather than “gardening”

When analyzing the main niche audience inside of Facebook, it should have a main audience of 2,000,000 or more in the USA

Products should have multiple smaller audiences that you can target; niche pages, magazines, clubs, other websites, etc.

Ideally there should be audiences in multiple countries, which is important for scaling (always start out with the United States, then scale out to other countries later on)

Ideally, products on your super-targeted niche store should be specific enough that a new customer could use 50% of the products in your store

There should be niche forums that are active, that are more passion orientated (if there’s not, it’s a warning sign… perhaps the niche isn’t targeted or passionate enough)

The audience should be passionate about this niche

There should be plenty of products easily searchable in AliExpress (ideally 20 or more highly targeted niche specific products to choose from)

General guidelines to consider for niche selection:

The products should be selling on Amazon (you don’t need to see the exact same product selling on Amazon, but seeing something similar that performs

well is a good indicator of commercial viability)

Individual product highest price on Amazon should be >1.5X Ali Express including ePacket

There should be a wide range of products to choose from, for example: tools, supplies, consumables, etc.

There should be multiple suppliers available

ePacket’s should be available to US, Canada, Australia, UK

Products should not in any way violate Facebook policies , in other words, they should be Facebook friendly

Products should have <10 variants (i.e., you don’t want to have 50 variat ions, this only confuses things). It’s easier to have simple ‘one size fits all’ products!

Products should not have style, fashion, sizing etc.

Generally, avoid clothing, jewelry, gadgets (these are popular choices, but things that we’d avoid these days, as many people choose these kinds of niches)

After a lengthy discussion on Niche selection, we changed our focus to Spying on Competitors, which is actually someone related, as you’ll see…

Spying On Your Competition Using Facebook: Every Super Seller agrees that the best way to identify products is by spying on your competitors on Facebook. Find out what they are selling by looking at their popular posts.

TOP TIP: Start liking lots of pages in your niche, marketers on Facebook will start targeting you with their products.

You’ll then start seeing all the ads in your niche of what your competitors are selling; this is the best way to identify hot products

Other tips for spying on your competitors: Subscribe to your competitor’s newsletters and visit their websites on a regular basis. You’ll then make it onto one of your competitor’s email or retargeting lists; you’ll be added to a Custom Audience list and you’ll get retargeted and end up on a Website Custom Audience list.

By simply ‘acting like a customer’, you’ll see figure out what your competitors top selling products are. This is a great way to find the products that your competitors are selling/advertising.

How to Spy on Facebook Ads: In every ‘newsfeed’ ad on Facebook, you’ll see a little “V” in the upper right corner. Users can tell Facebook to show them different ads, let Facebook know they found an ad useful, or pose the question “Why am I seeing this?”

There you will see more information…

You’ll get more information about targeting campaigns and see what kinds of different visuals, ad copy, and calls-to-action they’re using on a regular basis. You will find this for example:

“One of the reasons you’re seeing this ad is because XXXXXX.com wants to reach people aged 34 and older in the United States who have visited their website or used one of their apps. This is based on customer information provided by XXXXXX.com” Once you’re a part of these audiences, you’ll start to see more and more ‘bottom of the funnel’ ads from your competitors on your newsfeed and you’ll quickly start to

see all of the hot products that are proven winners in your niche.

Using the Facebook Search Bar: Another “spying” tactic is to use the Facebook search bar.

The basic search structure we use is: “KEYWORDS FROM YOUR NICHE” + “BIG SALE”; “50% OFF”; “TAG & SHARE” For example, check out the screenshot shown below:

This post is for a necklace. The best metric to look for when spying on ads like this, is how many shares they

have (Shares are more relevant than Likes, as they’re a stronger indicator of popularity and sales). Below is another example of a competitor product that is selling well on Facebook:

Here’s how we use Crowd Force to reverse engineer our competition:

1. Identify a competitor on Facebook

2. Take URL of the Facebook page, and load into Crowd Force (Facebook Engage module)

3. Set filters – find pages that have at least 100 likes / 100 shares 4. Uncover most shared / liked / commented posts

Finding and Saving Winning Ads Another tactic we use is to browse through a newsfeed, and save ads that capture our attention. And this is not just limited to your newsfeed:

What are people advertising on your significant other’s newsfeed?

What are people advertising on your parents’ newsfeed?

What are people advertising on your friends’ newsfeed? Here’s an example of how you can do this:

Find the products in your niche and sort by best seller rank (BSR), this indicates your number of orders.

Pricing Strategies

There’s not really a perfect sweet spot when it comes to pricing strategies, what’s common though is that many stores have some very cheap products and some more expensive products (which you can make a big margin on) in order to provide a great cross section for upsells and cross-sell opportunities. A few things we noticed when talking to the Super Sellers include:

Most people sell a range of different priced products, from $0.99 to $80 (full range of prices work)

Sometimes your best products might sell for $50, with a COG (cost of goods) of $10… these can give GREAT margins.

Products with higher prices can have less sales and still be BIG winners

Most people test using free-shipping as a strategy, but making the shipping between 2-4 times the price of what you buy the product for.

Promote the free shipping in your retargeting “FREE shipping on orders of

$50 or more”.

The next trick came as a complete surprise to us, and we LOVE it (we’ve since tested this ourselves to great effect!)…

Leverage “Fake” Mistakes Let’s have a look at this very interesting strategy. It’s a real gem, and emerged as one of the favorite

ideas from this meeting. Your ad says “Only $9.99” and the product sells on your page for $8.99. People think it’s a mistake and then hurry to purchase the products (often in multiple).

Another of this kind of strategy is telling people there’s a maximum QUANTITY that they can order, for example: “Maximum of two per person!”

And when the customer goes to the web page, he can buy as many as he wants! OR Say 50%, but when the customer goes to buy, it’s really 60% off

This is an advanced form of “manipulation” but certainly fair…heck, you’re selling it for LESS! People have been getting incredible results with these kinds of ‘mistakes’. We next moved on to discuss ads and images… let’s talk about this topic in a bit more detail…

Ads and Images Images are hugely important for the products you are selling on your store; a really

good image will make all the difference, in fact the difference between a winner and a loser! Here are a few image tips and general remarks about images:

You can have a higher price if the images are great, this shows quality

Be creative with your images, ask your suppliers for images

When you’ve got a winner, order the product yourself and take your own custom images and videos

DON’T include price in ad… instead use 50% off. This means you can change the price on a mature ad without needing to change the ad in the backend.

You’re limited if you include the price, by giving ‘50% off’ you’ll have much more flexibility.

Show the product like you almost can touch it… again, good photos are KEY.

Video ads with 360 degree product view works well

Videos usually have a better CTR (click through rate) than static image ads

You don’t need to use a live video, Animoto is a great tool for turning regular images into an “image video”

The absolute BEST way to learn about effective ads and images is to watch / spy on your competition using the tactics we’ve laid out in this document. THAT will always have you thinking and getting the benefit of their testing too. Here are some great ads and images we’ve found: The Dog Balaclava:

1. It asks you to tag a friend 2. It highlights a 50% Off + Free Shipping discount 3. It uses an intriguing image

Another type of ad that works VERY well, is the ‘Unboxing Video’ style of ad…

Un-Boxing Video Ads These are exactly as they sound… videos of people opening up and using products.

Make a video, or have a video made, of your product being opened

Works best if the video doesn’t look too professional, less is more!

Use these videos in your ad

You can do it with your cellphone over the shoulder (using a $20 tripod)

If you don’t want to make your own video, check out Fiverr Gigs, there are

several we’ve used that work very well (and are very cost effective)

Set up the camera looking over your shoulder, open the product, and talk about it

Show off the features, the quality, and how great it is, material, texture, weight, quality, etc.

Don’t over complicate it, keep it short and sweet… don’t talk if you don’t have to!

Throughout our meeting with the Super Sellers, we came across lots of random tips

and tricks, here are a few of them…

Other Useful Tips Facebook Ad Commenting Tips:

Ban people who make bad comments on your ads… “SCAM”!

If a post has a negative feedback score it can impact your whole Facebook account, be careful with these…

Reply to every comment, it’ll give you more organic reach

Ban certain words in the back office of Facebook, like “scam”, “don’t buy” . “ebay, “amazon” etc. (images can also be banned)

Automation: Automate scaling with Facebook rules (this is a new tool Facebook offers, we’ll be discussing it a lot more in the Live Training)

AliExpress Tips:

Try to find the manufacturer, try to reach the top of the chain, talk to them, and ask them to find other suppliers of products that you are already selling to negotiate a better price.

Pay your supplier directly through PayPal and you’ll pay a 3% fee - Alipay charges supplier 8%. This essentially gives you a 5% in price reduction.

TOP TIP: Get a “cash back” credit card! Wells Fargo offer1.5% cash back, Capi tal One offer 2% cash back on what you spend, this soon adds up!

TOP TIP: Use the AliExpress Affiliate Program – They pay you a commission back for every purchase (8%), it’s essentially a quick step to making 8% more profit!

Product Tips:

Look for things that can differentiate the product

Ask the supplier for modifications. Make it unique!

Don’t over complicate product selection, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel

Website Tips:

The entire site should be focused on SALES

Eliminate distractions

Make sure it’s mobile friendly

Use plugins and apps to automate your sales

Make sure you use a good theme on your store, some themes may convert

better than others

Email Marketing To Buyers Once set-up, every person that buys will automatically be put on your email list, you can then blast out an email to these potential buyers and have them buy more things from you. This is a strategy that definitely works a LOT better on super targeted stores, and

gives more brand recognition. What we do is follow up with buyers, showing them other products we offer, and typically get a 4% conversation rate.

NOTE: 100K Factory members have ran email campaigns, and made upwards of $3,500 for a 2 day campaign… JUST by sending a couple of emails!

Over time, you can nurture a loyal group of followers, who you can launch new products to, with a more immediate impact (not just on our stores, but also on Amazon). This strategy works with most popular autoresponders such as: Aweber, Mailchimp,

GetResponse, iContact etc.
