Applications

Agriculture, lrrigation and Water connections for buildings

Jointing methods

Solvent cement joint

1. Cut the pipe of required length and clean the end.

2. Chamfer the cut edge on the pipe for easy entry.

3. Mark the depth of insertion on pipe end,

4. Roughen the pipe insertion surface (externally)& socket of the fitting (internally) by using emery paper.

5. Apply a thin coat of PRINCE PVC Solvent cement on theroughened surface with brush. Avoid excess solventcement.

6. Insert the pipe end inside socket f i t t ing ful ly and turnthrough 90" for even spreading of solvent cement.Hold the ioint for about 1 minute.

7 . Cure the joint for 24 hrs for a proper and permanent joint.

Note: 1) Pressure rating of UPVC pipe & fitting is temperature related. Derating factor shall be applied during designing& operation for higher temperature application. (For detailed data refer lS 4985 or contact us)

2) Installation of UPVC Pipe Line shall be done in accordance with lS 7634 (Part-3).

Light weight Easy to transport, store, handle and install. Saves labour.

Smooth bore Ensures higher flow compared to G.l. f i tt ings of the same size. No clogging. Saves Operational Cost.

Solvent cement ioint Quick instal lat ion.

Corrosion resistance UPVC is rustproof therefore; bore diameter remains constant, ensuring constant flow over lifetime.

Life More than 50 vears.

Cost effective Added value for your money.

Threaded joint

1. Clean the Male and Female threads.

2. Apply teflon tape in the direction of the thread tightening.

3. Handtighten the threads firmly

4. Tighten the joint l i tt le more by using pipe wrench. Do notover tight. Use rubber packing while applying wrenchto avoid scratch on oioe.

ressure & Non-Pressure Pipes are manufactured in accordance with lS: 4985 coveringcomplete range from 20mm to 31Smm. They are available in pressure rating 2.Skglcm' ,kg/cm',6kg/cm'& 1Okg/cm'as defined in lS: 4985. The pipes are provided with plainocket and suitable for solvent cement jointing.

heir main appl icat ion is in agriculture for water suppl, dr ip irr igat ion & sprinkler l ines etc.s well as for drinking water distribution. however, these can also be used in cable ducting,;nt i lat ion pipe l ines & slurry l ines etc.

hey are avai lable in l ight grey colour with nominal length of 6 mtrs.
