in all cases were flattened, atrophic and yellow in color
and devoid of any Graafian follicles. Adjacent to the
ovary, there were multiple nodular masses measuring 2 x
2 x 2 rom to 10 x 10 x 5 rom which were homogeneous in cut
surface and white to grey or pink in color.
No ejaculatory canals were seen. Microscopically,·
proliferation of stromal cells of ovary, presence of tes-
ticuloied tubules and tubules lined by sertoli cells were
seen in all sections prepared from affected ovaries. The
tumor-like nodules were composed of testiculoid and semi-
niferous tubules in different stages of development.
Some of the tubules contained mature spermatozoa.
The Mechanism responsible for.this gonadal change is
unknown. It is assumed that the condition is the result
of the genetic disorders.

9 months old. Abatement of the egg production, hypertrophy
of the comb and wallet, enlargment of the spur, male type
plumage, crowling and virilism were observed clinically.
