COMPUTER MODELING OF THE FREEZING SOIL THERMOMECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Computer modeling of the thermal, mechanical and hydrodynamic soil properties in the process of freezing is
given in the article. The effects of stepwise (abrupt) change of the thermomechanical soil properties at the tempera-ture and phase changes, behavior of liquid flow in the soil pores at constant temperature decrease, stressed and deformative behavior including the effects from thermal expansion and fluid flow through the soil pores, thermal con-ductivity including phase changes and latent heat of freezing, effect relation among the above mentioned phenome-na are taken into consideration during the analysis.
