When Buddha peers down from Heaven he sees Kandata, the Thief, who once saved a spider. Throwing him a spider-web, Buddha offers him one last chance at salvation. お釈迦様が地獄を覗くと、多くの罪人のなかに、大泥棒だった「カンダタ」を見つけた。「カンダタ」は生前に一度、蜘蛛の命を助けたことがあった。そこでお釈迦様は、カンダタに一本の蜘蛛の糸を下ろす。それは、唯一極楽へとつながる道のように見えたが−

A Spider’s Thread is part of a 2009 project sponsored by Ryukoku University’s Joint Research Center for Science and Technology, experimenting with traditional performers sharing the stage with Computer graphic generated choreographies.

術・能]を西洋の演劇[理論・法]と統合させて新しい表現を創造するユニットです。

本公演は、2009 年度 龍谷大学 科学技術共同研究センターのプロジェクトの一環

として実施します。
