ThermokinesisControl of heat and frost. Throwfireballs, turn water to ice, and keepwarm in the cold. This is the easiestkinesis Abil ity to become skil led with,but learning to safely store extremeheat/cold without being affected is amore difficult ski l l to develop.

Cold is not a separate energy type,but you can sti l l choose to special izein pyrokinesis (adding heat) orcryokinesis (removing heat).

Antimagic FieldSuppress all magic, including yourown, a few meters around you at wil l .Within the field supernatural effectsfade very quickly and are difficult touse. The bodies of most magicalcreatures are unaffected, but bodilessspirits are repelled. With skil l this canremove enchantments and attackmagical beings.

Magic KnowledgeGain a deep understanding ofmagic. Allows you to memorize spellsthat disappear from your mind whenused. Very versati le and better thanMana Well for sophisticated effectsl ike teleportation or summoning, butyou can only use each spell oncebefore needing to relearn it. Expect toretain up to five at once depending oncomplexity and dedication. This alsohelps alchemy and other magic fields.

UltratechUnderstand, repair, and modifyultratech devices. Creating one ispossible, but difficult. Ultratech cancounter and mimic magic and thesupernatural, but don't expect suchpowerful functions to fit in anythingconvenient or inconspicuous.

Shapeshift: Mechanical FormShapeshift into robots and othermachines. Powerful features l ikeplasma cannons consume a ton ofenergy. Knowledge of how yourmechanical parts can function helpsthis skil l a lot.

With Animal Form this al lows turninginto a cyborg or a robot that couldpass for an animal. Magical Formallows magical golems/constructs.Fine Control allows tools on demand.

Sexth SenseInstinctively know how to seduce,read kinks, and know if others arearoused or attracted to someone.Never have problems findingerogenous zones. I f used correctlyand shamelessly this can manipulateothers more effectively than MindControl.

Fantasy FreshRarely need to eat or sleep. Yourbody wil l be clean and never spreaddiseases. You can sti l l get sick, butyou won't look worse than tired orpale. Works for equivalent nonhumanfunctions l ike battery use andmalware.

ConcealmentYou can make your supernaturalnature difficult to detect even bysensitive technology or magic, and ifyour form is similar to a commoncreature or thing you can hide yourunusual traits. Also makes everythingyou do seem a bit more normal.Others wil l be less l ikely to suspectyou of anything or view you as odd.

Mind ReadingRead surface thoughts and feelings.Anything deeper is much harder. Mindreading often lacks context and thereare many reasons someone mighthave a certain thought. Looking forpatterns is more productive thantrying to read people l ike a book.

Mind ControlInfluence minds directly, especial lysurface thoughts and feelings. Thisworks best on people who aresleeping, confused, lack confidence,or who trust you. I f you are carefulthis is hard to notice. Most peoplewon't suspect it unless you try to forceit when they resist.

Aether is everywhere, butmundane and terrestrial areas haveless of it. Exactly what it is and how itbehaves are subjects of debate andseveral thick treatises.

Secrets of the UniverseGain a l ittle bit of knowledge of al lthings and enhance any knowledgeyou already have. See the paths offate and what any action may resultin, but this is difficult and you are notthe only one with this power. Gaininsight into other civi l izations or findlong lost and hidden artifacts moreeasily.

GodformGain a true form that may be beautiful ,magnificent, or horrifying beyond imaginationand difficult to attack or comprehend. I t mightconsist of elemental aether or have limitedmotion outside the third dimension, but isn'tinvincible. You may keep your old form andswitch between them at wil l .

Shapeshift: MegaformYou may use shapeshifting to increase yoursize massively or spl it into several hive-mindedbeings. This does not tire you, but makes youlighter and more malleable than expected.Super Strength helps this. Intel l igence andcoordination help with spl itting. I f one of yoursplit selves dies it counts as damage and youlose mass; you cannot keep splitting infinitelyto replace them without regenerating first.

Super ImmunityImmunity to diseases, poison,malware, confusion magic, and othercorrupting effects. You sti l l might beable to spread an il lness, but it cannotaffect you.

Cannot be bought more than once.

Machine SpiritPossess and control electronics.Reprogram computers from withinand control vehicles directly.Technology can be made resistantand even hosti le to this so beware.

I f you have Absorption you cansurvive in machines without youroriginal body, but you wil l be muchweaker unless you consume a lot ofpower to compensate.

Super StrengthEnough strength to l ift and throwcars. Be tougher than an elephantand never pul l a muscle. Needed ifyou want a big, powerful true form.Makes it easier to hold the forms oflarge creatures when shapeshifting.

Shapeshift: Animal FormShapeshift between mundaneanimal forms, including humans andnormal al iens. I f you also haveMagical Form you may shift intopowerful al iens and supernaturalcreatures. Supernatural creaturesgain supernatural weaknesses andthis tends to go up the less vulnerableto mundane things they are. Trying tochange sex or small detai ls wil l rarelyproduce good results without FineControl.

Threat LevelsPick one. Regardless of your choice the threat wil l start relatively small and grow as you recover your power. Only relatesto those trying to stop your revival. I f you are a hunted monster or cause trouble, that'l l cause additional problems.

LowI f you are careful you might avoid those out to stop your revival entirely, but you shouldexpect to deal with them occasionally. They are not very organized and consist of smallgroups or rival factions with minimal communication. High chance of plucky youths whofail to recognize you. Can sti l l overpower you if you get cocky.

MediumGain 1 free Abil ity. You wil l not be able to avoid trouble with those trying to stop you.They are organized and communicate with each other in an all iance that is most l ikelyfriendly, but loose. You wil l need to stay hidden or gather powerful al l ies to survive.

HighGain 2 free Abil ities; or lose 1 Abil ity and gain 1 Ultimate Power. You are consideredan especial ly high threat. The good guys wil l never leave you alone and it'l l be hard toget away from them. They wil l be more organized and likely have several superbeingsguiding them. You are unlikely to survive unless you hide within a secret cult or areespecial ly cunning.

Abilities• As you find more fragments, you wil l regain more of your power. YYoouu wwiillll ffiinndd eennoouugghh ffrraaggmmeennttss ffoorr 55 AAbbiilliittiieess..• Effort and training sti l l count. You may specialize among and within Abilities or buy them more than once. Examplesinclude taking Telekinesis to special ize in magical fl ight, Startech to be a mad doctor/geneticist, or Super Strength to gainmore toughness than strength.• Powers can only be bought once, but some like Ascendant Eye and Aetherkinesis do benefit from skil l/special ization.• Abil ities that give knowledge grant a special genius for those subjects. You can never learn enough to invalidate them.• You have a tiny bit of mana and can learn magic without Magic Knowledge or Mana Well, but it is much harder and you'l lget far less out of it.

Shapeshifting• Some abil ities or technology may be able to reveal your true form, force you back into it, or exploit its weaknessesregardless of your current form.• The larger or smaller a form is compared to your true form the harder it is to hold. A man-sized shapeshifter couldhold a rat or horse form indefinitely, but beyond that it quickly gets harder. Super Strength helps to be larger. Skil l helpseverything.

Absorption and Energy• You can feed off of energy for l ife with the Absorption Abil ity, or for mana with the Mana WellAbil ity.• Supernatural energy (l ife, souls, sexual, love/friendship) also requires a Modifier (Lecherous or Eldritch).• Best to worst: life and soul, electric, other electromagnetic energy types, sexual, heat, sonic, love/friendship. This meansyou get the most from absorbing l ife and eating souls, but very l ittle from love/friendship.

You find a small , soft item with an odd glow that no one else appears to notice. Likely a small bug or seed, but you aremesmerized and don't notice the detai ls. Instinctively you crush it, fi l l ing yourself with power. Thoughts of a distant past invadeyour mind. How long has it been? How many lifetimes has your soul experienced as it wandered?

They destroyed you, but now destiny pulls you to find al l the lost fragments of your power. Surely they have not forgotten youand some may try to stop your resurrection, l ikely guided by gods or ancient orders. Even if you mask your power, they may beable to find you no matter where you hide if given enough time.

No matter if you want to reclaim your ancient heritage or destroy its influence forever, you must recover al l the lost fragments ofyour power. Unti l you do, your destiny wil l weigh down upon you with inconsolable urgency. No others may claim your lostfragments, though they may try to exploit or contain them in the unlikely event they somehow perceive and know what they are.

There are hundreds of fragments of power and some may be hidden within someone or something you are hesitant to destroy.When this happens you must choose if you are wil l ing to destroy it now or wait for the power to go elsewhere. Waiting could takea long time, but probably no more than a hundred years or two.

Free PowersThese Powers are available immediately upon finding the first fragment. Mindshift and Formshift damage your core which takesthousands of years to heal, so try not to use them more than that. I t is mostly safe to have a fal lback or secondary choice if youend up hating your new form or psychological changes.

ImmortalityHeal from anything that does notki l l you and never age. Incurableconditions and infections are curedin weeks and limbs are regeneratedin several years. That is assumingbest conditions when resting. Inextremely poor circumstances alimb could take several decades orlonger to regenerate. Severeexhaustion can make you appear toage or even kil l you.

Ascendant EyeDetect supernatural power and sensehidden things, especial ly assassins.

You may open a temporary portal toanother world (planet, space station, etc.)that has more of your fragments of powerthan the one you are currently on. This isa one-way trip and you may not bringmore than a few people or some luggagewith you, but you can sense enoughinformation to determine if it is safebeforehand.

MindshiftChange your personalitypermanently, including the additionor removal of fetishes or mentali l lnesses. This cannot boost yourmental attributes above average,but can affect how you use yourmind so you might appear smarter.

You cannot take away the senseof urgency to recover your powernor the ambitions of your formerself.

Robotic/inorganic forms are sti l l supernatural and benefit from enhanced healing and other abil ities, but inorganic materialsheal more slowly than flesh and may have other disadvantages. All forms must consume at least one thing and need a lot moreof it if they don't need to breathe. I f you are a golem/skeleton/sl ime you must be kil lable with soft/thin materials, a vulnerablecore, or something.

Flying/amphibious forms are significantly weaker (down to top 25% of humanity, 40% for both). I f your wings replace your armsthe penalty is reduced, especial ly if they are unusable as hands. Same for amphibious with a fish tai l instead of legs, especial ly ifit is not well land adapted (cannot sweat or dries out easily). A human/mermaid that cannot sweat wil l gradually overheat at 30°Cat rest in the sun, but cool down in the shade.

Abil ities may be manifested in your true form, making it appear stronger as you regain your power. Super Strength allowshaving larger forms and effective natural armor. SuperMovement allows high mobil ity forms such as robots with jet engines, butthe energy use for jets is expensive so consider using jet fuel. Calculation allows android mental capabil ities.

Formshifttl;dr If you stick to a common player race or equivalent or change sex you'll be fine.

Change your true form permanently. Your power is l imited so you cannot become morepowerful than a well-bred human (top 1 0%) from this alone. Trying to abuse this to beoverpowered wil l make you weaker to compensate. Smaller and weaker forms help withthis and make it easier to fly if you have wings.

Nonhuman traits are fine so long so they are logical, mundane, and don't make youbetter than a human. Edge-cases might make you a little weaker/smaller to compensate,reducing you to below a top 1 0% human. Completely safe would be a robot needing tobe plugged into an outlet and recharged instead of eating. Edge-case might be acommon playable fantasy race or catgirl (animal senses, weakness to catnip, shedding,et cetera).

ModifiersYou may choose multiple Modifiers, but may gain the ggrreeeenn aanndd iittaalliicciizzeedd bonus from only one of them.

The universe is a balanced mix of magic and science fiction if you don't pick Fantasy or Sci-Fi.

Power UnleashedGGaaiinn 11 ffrreeee PPhhyyssiiccaall AAbbiilliittyy;; oorr

Fantasy (Not with Sci-Fi)GGaaiinn 11 ffrreeee MMaaggiiccaall AAbbiilliittyy.. The truenature of the universe is magic, orperhaps that is the side of it you arebest adapted to l ive in and interactwith. Expect to meet more dragonsand few robots on your journeys.

I f you have the Startech Abil ity youlikely won't be able to make starshipsor giant robots and it isn't as good formedicine, but if anyone can it is you.

Sci-Fi (Not with Fantasy)GGaaiinn 11 ffrreeee SScciitteecchh AAbbiilliittyy.. The truenature of the universe reflects sciencefiction, or at least the side of it youcan best perceive and interact with.Some things may appear magical, butdon't expect to meet lots of fantasybeasts and wizards.

I f you have the Magic KnowledgeAbil ity your powers and lore are lessuseful, but also less expected.

LecherousGGaaiinn 11 ffrreeee SSeedduuccttiioonn AAbbiilliittyy.. Youare more powerful the more sexual orseductive your form or activity,weaker otherwise. Examples ofsexual forms: succubus, phall ictentacle monster, super sexy, orerect and well-endowed.

With Absorption or Mana Well youcan absorb sexual energy fromtension (weak), to sex (moderate);also l ife energy through kissing/sexwhich is stronger, but harmful.

Eldritch Being: Fae/AbominationGGaaiinn 11 ffrreeee SShhaappeesshhiiffttiinngg AAbbiilliittyy;; oorr lloossee 22 AAbbiilliittiieess aanndd ggaaiinn 11 UUllttiimmaattee PPoowweerr..You must have one or more cuteness or horror related drawbacks. Cute drawbacksare things l ike physical weakness, clumsiness, naivety, the need to prank, orweakness to headpats. Examples of horrific drawbacks are hunted for being amonster, weakness to divine power, or it being hard on your own sanity.

The worse it is the more intense your powers of cuteness/horror wil l be, boostingthe power of any cute/horrific forms and actions. Drawbacks must make sense andmust affect you or they don't count.

With Absorption or Mana Well and a cute/horrific true form you can absorb morekinds of energy. I f cute you can passively and harmlessly absorb love/friendship(counts as one energy type), but the effect is weak. I f horrific you can absorb l ifeenergy through contact and eat souls, neither of which is passive or harmless.
