How do you name a ray?

The first letter naming a ray is always its endpoint. The second letter is any other point

on the ray.

Remember!! Opposite Rays are two distinct collinear rays with only their

end points in common.

The notation for naming lines, line segments, and rays match the figure.

How are parallel and skew lines alike?

They both never intersect

How are they different??

Parallel lines are in the same plane, skew lines are not.
