Balustrades are available in various

designs in stainless steel, with a choice

of finishes:

Mirror polished, satin polished,

brushed, bead blasted, electro

polished, powder coated.

Balustrades and handrails which

require a coloured finish are powder

coated in either polyester or nylon.

This is electro statically sprayed on in

powder form and baked in an oven for

a specified length of time until hard.

STR U CTU R AL G L ASS

Structural glass balustrade is

available in thickness from 12mm to

25mm dependant on building usage

and loading requirements.

The method of fixing is either:-

1. Side mounting clamp plate

or welded channel.

2. Top fixed to a structure by bolting

a formed channel and setting

the glass in.

Our craftsmen are most experienced with stainless steel and structural

glass and we continually adapt to new combinations of materials and finishes.

Our technical office can produce calculations for loadings and design criteria

to meet BS 6180, 6399 and parts K and M of current building regulations.

Method statements are provided for approval prior to installation as are

O and M manuals after completion.

Our own fully experienced installation teams ensure single source

responsibility for all on site services including diamond core drilling,

welding, polishing and joinery work.

but we are very aware of current

regulations and particularly excel in

a nylon high build coating for steel,

clear nylon coating on stainless steel,

timber handrail on steel supports.

Balcony balustrades are

manufactured to British Standard

and Building Regulations from a

variety of materials. Stainless steel

with glass infills are very popular

as is the structural glass balustrade

with no uprights, the glass being

mounted on a support plate or set

into channel.

CAN O PI ES

The canopy framework is

manufactured from galvanised,

powder coated or stainless steel

supporting glass panels. The glass

is either toughened or toughened

and laminated dependant on size

and location. This can be either

flat or curved.
