We have always known we wanted a

family, we have full lives and hearts but

someone is missing. Due to unexplained infertility

we are unable to create the family we always

knew we wanted. We have tried unsuccessfully to

conceive a child and still want more than anything

to share our lives with a child – become a family.

There is no question in our minds that adoption

would be the answer to making our dreams of a

family come true!

We want to start by thanking you for taking the time to

learn a little about us. We are so excited you are considering us for the amazing privilege of being your baby’s parents. Even though we do not know you yet, we have a great amount of respect and admiration for you. We cannot truly understand everything you are going through but please know we offer our sincere support and prayers. We can only try to understand the difficulty in the decisions that lie ahead for you. It is obvious the plan you are making is being made out of love, courage and selflessness and that you are trying to make the best decision for this child.

We hope by looking at our photos and reading about our lives you will find comfort in knowing how much we want to share our lives with a child. Choosing an adoption plan is a very brave, courageous, loving and absolutely selfless act. It takes a very special person to consider helping another couple make their dreams come true! We continue to pray for the opportunity to become a family through adoption, and we thank you for considering us as parents for your child.

WE ARE STACY & DEANHi!

There is no question in our minds that adoption will be the answer to making our dreams of a family come true!

HOW OUR STORY BEGANWe met at the recreation center of the university that we both attended. Stacy’s job during

school was working at the rec center checking ID’s and would see Dean come in every day to play racquetball with his friend. I thought he was so cute but was too shy to say hello. On a dare from a friend I said hello and asked him if he wanted to go out for dinner that evening. He actually said no with the excuse that he was having dinner with his mother but did ask for my phone number. I was devastated, but he called me the next day and we spent several hours just talking. Dean and I discovered we had so many things in common with each other and couldn’t wait to make plans to go out! We went on several dates and very quickly knew we knew right away there was something special.

Our courtship was unique as we lived together for 10 years before actually getting married. This time together was amazing because it gave us time to solidify our bond and experience life as a couple. We knew it was meant to be but didn’t decide to actually get married until we were sure we wanted to start a family. We had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by close family and friends supporting us. Besides being deeply in love with each other we can definitely say we are each other’s best friend.

MORE ABOUT DEAN, HE...

Stacy is a wonderful and loving person. She is always there for me, our friends and families. She

is the planner and organizer to my laid back attitude. Stacy would be best described as very caring, compassionate and a thoughtful friend, sister and daughter. She is a hard worker and very determined. She completed her master’s degree in marketing and has worked her way in her company to a managerial position. I am very proud of her!

The most important thing in her life is her family! She is totally devoted to her niece and nephew and dotes on them all the time. The one thing missing in her life is a child. After seeing the years of disappointment, I can’t wait to see the expression on her face the day we are able to bring a child into our home, she is going to be an amazing mother.

• Loves being in the water – pool or ocean! You can find her a few mornings a week at the local pool swimming a mile or making sure every vacation involves going to the beach.

• Is very creative. She studied design in college and still uses artistic skills in every outlet of her life - work and home.

• Is an avid reader going to the library at least once a week for the latest best-seller • Won’t admit that her guilty pleasure is watching reality television – she loves the “housewives”, design shows and cooking challenges.

Dean would be best described as a caring husband, son, brother and friend. He is very calm, relaxed,

and a great (sometimes a bit dry) sense of humor - he keeps me laughing! Dean is one of the smartest people I know. He is constantly learning – reading, following current events and listening. It has been almost 20 years from our first date and I continue to still find myself learning new things from him every day.

Dean is my best friend. He listens to all the stories from my day and gives me a shoulder to lean on. He is very thoughtful and does so many thoughtful things for me every day. From the small things of making sure I have a full tank of gas in my car or picking up my favorite yogurt at the market to knowing just what to say so that I feel safe protected and know everything is going to be OK.

• Loves listening to old records (or vinyl as he calls it) and finding that “perfect” song

• Is obsessed with keeping his car clean

• Always has his iPad ready to show off pictures of his niece and nephew or check the stock market • Played football, tennis and baseball in high school – made varsity as a freshman!

• Makes the best omelets I have ever tasted

We love our home for many reasons and chose it because we felt it was the perfect

and secure home for us to raise a family in. We both grew up in homes with lots of laughter and neighborhoods full of kids playing together making memories and forming lifelong friendships. We chose our home and neighborhood with this in mind trying to recreate that environment for our future family.

We live in a large three bedroom brick townhouse in a very family oriented neighborhood with lots of playgrounds, schools, and parks within walking distance. One of the reasons we love our neighborhood is because it offers family-oriented fun activities throughout the year: a “haunted” forest in the fall, Easter egg hunt in the spring and fireworks and BBQ for the July 4th to name a few. Even though we live in the suburbs we are also close enough to bigger cities that offer tons of cultural and historical events for day outings.

Family is the most important thing to us! We are a family that loves to have fun and spend quality time together!

While we both come from somewhat small immediate families (we each have one sibling) we are very fortunate that we have great friends and family close by. We know that holidays, birthdays and special occasions are best when spent with friends and family. Throughout the years we have been together, we’ve watched our two families become one and our two sets of friends become a huge network of support and love. We look forward to expanding our family even further.

3. Aloha! Enjoying some family time with Stacy’s family

4. Stacy with two of her favorite people - her niece and nephew

5. Stacy, her mom and niece having fun with puzzles

6. Stacy and her nephew share a birthday - double the family birthday fun!

Stacy’s family – Most of Stacy’s family lives within an easy driving distance so visits are very frequent! She have a younger sister who is happily married with 2 small children. We can often be found on the weekend at our nephew’s baseball game or niece’s dance recital, or just having an impromptu family BBQ. Stacy’s parents are loving life and enjoying being semi-retired. They moved close to us about eight years ago (once Stacy’s sister had children) and are very active with their friends and community. Stacy’s mom is a substitute teacher and her dad is enjoying retirement after owning a family business for many years.

Stacy’s parents love being grandparents and their whole lives revolves around their grandchildren! They babysit n a regular basis and love to take their grandchildren on adventures. Our niece and nephew can’t wait for a new cousin and my parents are thrilled about having more grandchildren to love!

Dean’s family - Dean’s family is a bit more spread out but that doesn’t stop them from being a big part of our lives. Dean comes from a large family and is very close with his mom and brother. (His father passed away in 1998). His mother still lives in his childhood home in upstate New York and we visit often. She keeps very active walking 5 miles a day, working in her amazing garden and working at the elementary school. While Dean’s mother does not have grandchildren yet she can’t wait to become a grandmother.

Dean has one brother that is happily married who lives on the west coast. His brother and wife are world travelers and love to send updates, pictures and gifts from their adventures around the globe. They are really looking forward to becoming an aunt and uncle!

We have so much love to share with a child and we are excited to have the opportunity to create our family

through adoption. If we are given this privilege to adopt your baby, always know we will unconditionally love and cherish your child and they will forever know the sacrifices you have made out of love. Thank you once again for taking the time to read our story. We wish you all the best in everything you do, especially in the coming months when you will be faced with some tough decisions. We respect your decision to follow your heart and pray that God will give you the strength and courage to do what is best for your child.

Thank you –

Stacy and Dean

We will provide a life where a child feels secure in the love and support

of their family. Our child will be encouraged to pursue their dreams, whatever they may be. We have already started college savings funds and will provide for a college education and other opportunities as well.

We will do our best to introduce our child to new adventures - music class, swim lessons, skiing, art, t-ball, soccer, etc. We also enjoy simple things like going to the park, walking around the neighborhood, visiting friends and family, going to local attractions and sometimes just sitting home and hanging out. We as a family, would love the opportunity to share these experiences, and more importantly, all of the unconditional love that we have for a new baby.

THANK YOUAND WE WISH YOU THE BEST
