What are we going to talk about?
When a child is born parents receive invitation to childcare centre where they:
o get help and informationo participate in classeso parents training
Children can attend the crèche and nursery.
Home to nursery/crèche
at 2.5 years old children are ready for nursery
Childcare centre / nursery school

At 5 years old children are ready for primary school.
What can the school/community do?
What can parents do?
Nursery to Primary School
We visited a few museums and art galleries.
These offer workshops and activities for parents and children.
Culture Visits
We have witnessed both the High Scope approach and the Project approach to teaching.
The group has recognised that teachers must value the individuality of each child within all approaches.
We do not think that one particular method is ‘right’. They all can work together
