8th Grade Math Summer Packet

Dear Parent/Guardian,

In preparation for 8th grade mathematics, a packet of 7th grade review problems must be

completed by the end of the first week of school. The packet is posted on the West Essex

School’s website: http://www.westex.org.

Please follow all directions given below regarding the completion of this packet:

No calculators allowed, except of worksheet 134 (percents).

All work must be shown. If needed, use a separate piece of paper.

This packet must be completed by your child.

If there is a topic your child doesn’t remember how to do, it should not be left blank,

s/he must try his best. Refer to the links below for review.

Please Note:

It is important each student do the packet himself as the first test of the year (administered

during the first two weeks of school) will be on these topics.
