I can explain how culture ( literature, language, arts, customs, and beliefs) defines my chosen group in the world today and how this group shows a unique perspective.
Italy (Food)
Breakfast-Italians usually eat croissants, yogurt, or coffee. They have morning tea in between breakfast and lunch with cheese and sandwiches.
Lunch-Their pizza is very thin and has limited toppings. Pasta is usually full of vegetables.
Dinner- For dinner they eat vegetables with fish.
Italy ( table manners)
They hold the fork in the left hand to eat after cutting food, unlike the American way, is shifting the fork from right hand to left to cut meat.
France (food)
Breakfast- the French usually eat bread and pastries with coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Lunch- the meal begins at noon and ends at 2 PM. Usually they eat fish, chicken or sandwiches, with a side of fruit or salad.
Dinner- Some of the most famous dinner meals in France are frogs legs, and snails. When people in France go out to eat no one eats before 9 p.m.
France (manners)
Immediately after being seated, you should place your napkin in your lap.
If eating bread, it should go in the upper left edge of your plate.
When the food is served, you wait for the host to give the toast before drinking.
Spain (food)
Breakfast- They drink espresso coffee with steamed milk, hot chocolate, and eat a roll and some cheese or jam.
Lunch- they usually will have a seafood dish with rice and they have variety of cold cut meats and cheeses.
Dinner-What they normally eat is fresh seafood, roast chicken or lamb with fried potatoes or rice.
Spain (manners)
When eating you should dip your bread in the soup ( if you have it).
Also when you are at dinner there is no elbows on the table ( like the United States).
In Spain when you are eating with your family you don’t stop talking through out the meal.
