• Reflexive verbs end in “se” in infinitive form• Example: • lavarse• afeitarse• dormirse

• Take “se” off, conjugate verb as normal, change “se” to agree with subject, put before verb

bañarse(yo) me baño (nosotros) nos bañamos(tú) te bañas (vosotros) os bañáis(él) se baña (ellos) se bañan

• usually mean action done to or for oneself• Ex:• bañarse= to bathe oneself• arreglarse= to fix oneself up• lavarse= to wash oneself

*Reflexive verbs also exist in non-reflexive

form!*

lavar / lavarse• El hombre lava el perro. • The man washes the dog.
