（1）网络主权

Cyber sovereignty

【英文】In his speech at the opening ceremony of the 2nd World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, Chinese

President Xi Jinping stressed respecting cyberspace sovereignty, maintaining peace and security in

cyberspace, and promoting open cooperation and good order.

【中文】国家主席习近平在乌镇第二届世界互联网大会的开幕式上发表致辞，他强调要尊重各国

网络主权，维护和平安全的网络空间，促进开放合作，构建良好秩序。

【扩展阅读】"网络主权"概念的提出对于互联网全球管理(Internet global governance)有着重要的意

义。每个国家都有权利创造属于自己的网络管理模式(Internet governance model)，各国网络主权应

得到尊重。中国政府坚决反对网络霸权(Internet hegemony)，不干涉他国内政(foreign interference in

internal affairs)，不从事、纵容或支持危害他国国家安全的网络活动(online incitement that could

threaten national security)。

网络空间是人类共同的活动空间，网络空间前途命运应由世界各国共同掌握。各国应该加强沟

通、扩大共识(expand consensus)，共同构建网络空间命运共同体(build a cyberspace community in

future)。

（2）暗物质探索

Dark matter search

【英文】China on Thursday sent into space the country's first Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE)

Satellite in a fresh search for smoking-gun signals of dark matter, invisible material that scientists believe

makes up most of the universe's mass.

【中文】17日，我国将其首枚暗物质粒子探测卫星送入太空，以探索来自于暗物质的确凿无疑的

信号。科学家相信，肉眼无法看见的暗物质构成了宇宙质量的绝大部分。

Arms sale to Taiwan

【英文】Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC has expressed its strong opposition to the US over its

arms sale to Taiwan and warns that this move will harm China-US ties.

【中文】外交部就美国对台军售一事表示强烈反对，警告美国此举将损害中美关系。

【扩展阅读】16日，美国政府通知国会，决定向台湾出售总额约18.3亿美元的武器装备(notify the

Congress of a $1.83b deal on arms sale to Taiwan)。这是美方4年多来首次批准大规模对台军售

(approve a major arms sale package to Taiwan)。我国对此表示坚决反对。

外交部发言人洪磊称美方此举严重损害中国主权和安全利益(constitute a severe infringement of

China's sovereignty and security interests)，敦促美方恪守中美三个联合公报(abide by the three joint

Sino-US communiques)，撤销有关对台军售项目(revoke the plan of selling arms to Taiwan)，多做有利

于中美关系大局和两岸关系和平发展的事情。

（4）雾霾费

Smog fee

【英文】Shanghai has announced plans to charge polluters for emissions of volatile organic compounds

(VOCs), introducing a new tariff that media have called a "smog fee."

【中文】上海计划向污染者征收挥发性有机物排污费，媒体也称其为"雾霾费"。

【扩展阅读】这里的雾霾费(smog fee)，实际上是指挥发性有机物(volatile organic compounds, VOCs)

排污费。挥发性有机物是形成霾和PM2.5的前提物，其排放到大气中，经过光化反应(photochemical

reaction)，会造成二次污染(secondary pollution)。

上海市环保局相关负责人称，目前，挥发性有机化合物在空气污染形成中所占的比例最大。上海

VOCs排污收费试点行业共包括石油化工(petrochemicals)、船舶制造(shipbuilding)、汽车制造

(automobile manufacturing)、包装印刷(package printing)、家具制造(furniture making)等12个大类行业

中的71个中小类行业，基本覆盖了该市工业VOCs重点排放行业。

【例1】句子结构混乱

原文：本研究团队以往的观察也提示绝大多数卒中照顾者具有一定程度的抑郁状态, 并且在某

种程度上均体现出睡眠不好从而影响了照顾者自身的身心健康也不利于卒中患者的康复。

译文：Previous observations by the research group also indicated a certain degree of depression in

most stroke patients’ caregivers whose sleep was poor in some degree and thus affected the caregivers’

physical and mental health and hindered the rehabilitation of stroke patients.

建议修改：Previous observations by our research group also indicated a certain degree of depression

in most caregivers of stroke patients; they had poor sleep in some degree, which thus affected the

caregivers’ physical and mental health and hindered the rehabilitation of stroke patients.

【例2】过于直译

原文：宏定位系统作用是将分度电机的旋转运动通过高精度的齿轮副、蜗轮蜗杆副、丝杠螺母

副和导轨副转化为工作台的直线运动对衍射光栅的刻线位置进行初定位。

译文：The role of macro-positioning system is through high-precision gears, worm and gear, screw

pair and guide ways converting rotational motion of the dividing motor into linear motion of table, that is, coarse positioning of the groove position of ruling grating.

分析：原文过于直译，遵从原文语序叙述，比较中式英语。修改后的译文首先描述主要动作与

结果，然后才是手段，更加符合英文的表述。

建议修改：The role of the macro-positioning system is converting the rotational motion of the

dividing motor into a linear motion of table through high-precision gears, worm and gear, screw pair and

guide ways, that is, coarse positioning of the groove position of ruling grating.

【例3】语义错误

原文：分别设计用于扩增vat基因上、下游同源臂序列的引物: vat-up-F / vat-up-R vat-down-F /

vat-down-R。

译文：Two pairs of primers vat-up-F/vat-up-R and vat-down-F/vat-down-R were designed to amplify

the up and down streams of vat gene homologs.

建议修改：Two pairs of primers vat-up-F/vat-up-R and vat-down-F/vat-down-R were designed to

amplify the upstream and downstream homologous arms of vat gene.

译文：The monks in the monastery have collected some burial objects, including silk remains with

birds and animal patterns and inscriptions of “王侯” (princes and marquises), wood artefacts (for

example, horse-hoof shaped wood comb, rectangular wood table, wood mirror case, grass woven artefact,

and a rod used for drilling a wood to start a fire), bronze artefacts, gold plated silver pieces and iron ware,

and so on.

建议修改：The monks in the monastery have collected some burial objects, including brocade with

birds and animal patterns and characters of “王侯,Wanghou (Kings and Marquises) ”, wood artefacts (for

example, horse-hoof shaped wood comb, rectangular wood table, wood mirror case, grass woven artefact,

【例5】语法错误

原文：缅甸则有官员警告如果再发生类似事件， 将向国际法院起诉印尼索取赔偿。

译文：A Myanmar official warned that if such incidents had happened again, he would have sued to

the International Court of Justice for compensation from Indonesia.

分析：这里并不是虚拟语气，从句中用一般现在时，主句中用将来时即可。

建议修改：A Myanmar official warned that if such incidents happen again, he will sue to the

International Court of Justice for compensation from Indonesia.
