Servicing existing taps never results in the perfect operation, as a new tap provides. Each of our vanscarry Easy Clean tapware which is chrome in colour to suit nearly every bathroom, kitchen, andlaundry application. When installing the new tapware we replace the existing cheaper black andwhite washers that are provided with new hydro seal washers. Hydro seals are a brass washer with ano ring as its rubber. Each time the tapware is replaced, we re- seat the face of the breacher or seat set,by using a re-seating tool, which will cut a new smooth seat to allow the hydro seal washer to sit on.

We replace the provided black and white tap washers as we find they fail, and by replacing them witha hydro seal washer, the customer does not have to pay for another attendance for a plumber tocome and replace the tap washer on the new taps.

Another advantage of replacing the taps fully is there is less labour involved in replacing the tapwarethan servicing. This can often save the customer between fifteen minutes and half an hour in theirlabour costs, which normally contributes to a large percentage of the purchase of new tapware. Servicing of TapwareIt is crucial that when repairing a leaking taps, that not just the tap washer is replaced, as a companyprocedure our plumbers will service your tapware fully. This will involve installing of a new hydro sealwasher;replacing of o rings on the spindle, lubricating the spindle, cleaning of the female threads onthe spindle, lubricating of cover flange/bell, tap re-seating, and replacement of body washers.
