Ring-fenced funds

641 active ring-fenced funds Most people support us because of their own

experience Donations are ring-fenced for specific ward,

department or condition Expenditure is decided by senior clinical staff Over and above what NHS should do

For example, the ultrasound department encourage donations for the additional scan photos (for grandparents, work etc!) which go into their charitable fund. That fund bought a machine to warm the ultrasound gel – to make the scans more comfortable for patients.
