Datalogic is an industrial Group divided into specific products and markets: Datalogic Scanning, Datalogic Mobile, Datalogic Automation.

The Business Development Unit, with headquarters in Bologna, (which includes Informatics, USA) is added to the other three companies. It develops new business platforms within the Group and evaluates new merger and acquisition opportunities.

Datalogic S.p.A., with headquarters in Bologna, defines the Group’s strategy, values and policies. It coordinates and controls the Group and all its companies.

In 2008, Datalogic completed the Group’s Transformation Plan, designing a new organization for Datalogic Automation, one of the major worldwide manufacturers of automatic identification, detection and marking solutions.
