Psoriasis is a life-lasting skin disorder that causes scaling and inflammation. Psoriasis is one of the world's most common skin deformity, and can affect 2% to 3% of all people.

Psoriasis effects the outer most layer of skin; the epidermis. Skin cells regenerate at a quicker pace than normal. This causes dead skin cells to build up on the epidermis, creating rough, itchy patches of skin
