Read through all of the procedures on the lab handout before looking at the following pictures.

1. The cabbage juice indicator was prepared according to the directions in step 1.

tube and mixed. Record the following colors in the “Tests Data Table”.

Part 2: Preparing the tests

e. Compare the colors from the household substances to those of the standards to determine their pH.
