A Tuscan PTA Event

THANK YOU Welcome to “Tune In Tuscan,” the 2015 Tuscan Show! It has been amazing to watch our Tuscan community come together to help make this a wonderful experience for our children. The kids can’t wait to show you the results of all of their hard work! So many people have helped make this show happen. We must begin by thanking our skit directors. Without their creativity and enthusiasm (and time!), there would not be a show! We have also been fortunate this year to have our own Claire Van Tine and Andrew Dean—Tuscan’s music and art teachers, respectively—heading up the Muppet Show skit and the Art Crew—thank you! In addition, the Tuscan teachers have kept up their tradition this year and created a fabulous video for the show. Thank you to our teachers and staff! We are so excited to be performing in the beautiful Columbia High School auditorium this year. Many thanks to Principal Elizabeth Aaron for allowing us to use the space and to Amy Singer for making it all happen. Amy, you have been so kind and helpful! Thank you to Ms. Majeed and Mr. Mason for their help and support on- and off-screen! Magda and Fay, thank you for helping us navigate scheduling and procedures and always being delightful! A huge thank you goes to Toni and the entire Tuscan custodial staff for all that you do to keep our school beautiful. We appreciate your help with building access and for accommodating our filming schedule. Thank you also to Jude, Darryll and the rest of the wonderful custodial staff of Columbia High School! Many thanks to Sharon Huetz, Dana Cavanaugh, Caitlin Evan Jones, Leeanne Murphy, Jen Vroman and Lynn Salort for providing history and guidance and for letting us ask you all a million questions! We must also thank our husbands! Whether we asked them to do voice-overs, write scripts, assist with filming…or put on a tiger suit—they did it! We are incredibly fortunate to have had Beth Brock, our amazing PTA president, to be our co-pilot on this adventure. She has been invaluable—tech guru, negotiator, advisor, sounding board—we simply could not have done this without her. Beth, we are so grateful to you. I must take a moment to thank my co-director, Eddie Bennett. It is his fantastic vision that you see up there on the stage today. Without his creativity, attention to detail and hours of slaving over his computer editing music, vocals and videos, we would not have a show. Eddie, thank you for your dedication to making sure this is the best show it could be. I am happy to have been your partner through

it all! You’ve gone above and beyond. Finally, to our fabulous hosts—we love you! It has been such a joy to watch you all
