Entering Units of competency

eBOS Schools Online

It is possible to complete entries using the 99999999 for All Active students in this course function.

CAREFULL about doing this for achievements, as it is easy to make errors for individual students

Enter all the units being delivered by ticking the left hand box.

Entering Units of competency – Transition Hospitality

eBOS Schools Online

For the Hospitality transition you need to select the new qualification

Where a student has achieved a unit of competency in 2013 / old Qualification SIT20207 and it is equivalent to the new unit, it is entered and marked as Credit Transfer in the outcome status.

If the unit was not achieved in 2013, it MUST be entered as the new unit code and name for 2014, understanding that most have new names and codes.

If unit is not equivalent to the New Qualification the trainer/teacher MUST ensure that the HSC content for the old and the AQF requirements have been delivered and assessed for the new qualification.

Selecting a RTO

eBOS Schools Online

Some VET Courses are delivered by external RTOs. For example; MTA for Automotive.

When entering your VET Competency units you need to select the correct RTO. A school can select more than ONE RTO, but will need to select one as the default – usually the most commonly accessed RTO.

The AIS is the RTO for most courses delivered in AIS Schools: •Business Services, •Construction Pathways•Early Childhood•Electro technology•Entertainment •Financial Services•Hospitality •IDT•Metal & Engineering•Primary Industries•Retail•Tourism.
