Shiurim Rabbi Polakoffs Parshas Hashavuah shiur meets Shabbat morning at 8:30 am before the 9:00 am minyan. The Sunday morning Halacha breakfast shiur given in conjunction with Yeshivah Gedolah meets Sunday morning after the 8:30 am minyan. Mazal tov to the grandparents and siblings. Mazal Tov to Rita and Avi Francis on the birth of a grandson born to their children Bracha and Moshe Francis. The shalom zachor will be at Kehillas Ahavas Yisrael, 545 Arbuckle Avenue, Cedarhurst at 8:30. Mazal tov to Rena and Mark Sokolow on the birth of a granddaughter born to their children Elana and Rafi Sokolow. Matanos L'Evyonim One of the most important mitzvos of Purim is Matanos L'Evyonim, through which we ensure that everyone, even those less fortunate, experiences the happiness and joy of Purim. Rabbi Polakoff will be arranging for the distribution of Matanos L'Evyonim on Purim day to several very worthy causes. If anyone wishes to contribute through the shul, please do so online or make checks payable to Congregation Bais Tefilah of Woodmere, and give them to Rabbi Polakoff or David Greenbaum, preferably before Purim (to ensure proper allocation) Sunday Evening Setup If you're available on Sunday evening at 7:15 (after mincha/maariv), we will be setting up the simcha hall for the Purim Chagiga taking place the following night, and then on Monday evening, we will break down the room after the Chagiga. Your anticipated cooperation is greatly appreciated. Committee wants everyone to use the front doors only at all times when entering and exiting the shul building.

Please exit the closest/safest exit.

Do not take time to collect personal items.

Call 911 or pull the manual fire alarm. 3. For emergencies other than fire:

Remain calm & listen to security for instructions.

Depending on incident, we may ask you to evacuate or remain in your seats and lay low.

Annual Dinner • Save the date: Sunday evening, April 26th

will be our annual dinner honoring Rabbi and Rebbetzin Polakoff at the Woodmere Club.

Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Trip Bais Tefilah of Woodmere is organizing a trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Our group will be taking the ferry from Battery Park to Liberty Island on Sunday, May 31st at 12PM. Fees include round trip ferry service, admission to the Ellis Island Museum, the Statue of Liberty grounds, and the Statue of Liberty pedestal and museum. Your choice of audio guides or state trooper guides will be available and both are complimentary. Tickets are $20 each. (Tickets which include the 20-story climb to the Statue of Liberty crown must be purchased separately by the interested individual at statuecruises.com.)
