The Town of Medfield, Massachusetts is pleased to provide you with the attachedNational Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Small MS4 GeneralPermit Annual Report for the period from April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009. Over thepast year, the Town has continued to implement its stormwater management program.
In 2008, the Town continued with its pond de-nitrification program at Vine LakeBakers Pond, Danielson Pond, Flynn s Pond and Tubitty Pond. The Town also beganthe implementation of a Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) and Infiltration/Inflow(1/1) program to reduce flows to the Medfield Wastewater Treatment Plant. Theproposed III activities were reported to EP A and DEP on February 5, 2008 as part of thecompliance requirements of NPDES Permit No. MAOl00978 and are being conductedunder the Massachusetts State Revolving Fund (SRF) program.
