    1 . Featu re Description, I ntegrity, El igibi lity :The feature is a one rcom prairie school sitting on concrete block foundation. Perhaps this school wasmoved to this location as concrete blocks were not comnnn br foundation in early constuction ofscftools. The rmf of the school hc a sparce scatbdng of wood strakes with large areas of the loofsagging bare wood. The entry is nearly devoid of shingles. There is a large cupola on the rcof near theeast end. Wood shakes cover this roof as well and there is a flag pole at the peak. The roob of boththe school and enfry have netalcapping with finials. The soffts are closed.

    There b a witle tim berd urder the eaves of all sirle of the scfiool. The sirling b 6 incfi wood hp wifrrmetal comer trim. The window openings on the south side of the school are mostly just large holes. ltappears there were two banks of three double hung windows, with little faming and no glass. Theenty also had two double hung windors, no glass and a bit of framing. On the west wall there are twomutipane, double hung windows nearerthe north wall and another double hung window closerto thesouth wall, no glass in any of them. One last window opening is under the peak on the west wall. Astiairuvay inside the door located at the southwest comer of the school of the appears to lead up to asrnall rcom at the west most end of the school. Perhaps a room for the teacher. \Mrere the stainrayfums to go upstairs it also opens inb the school proper. The entire east end of the enfy was cut awayleadng a large opening- Perhaps the building was used fur sbrage of f;arm equipnrent The remainingwalls arc lahe and plaster with muc{r of the plaster fallen a\nay. Remnants of beadboard hang fiomsome parts of the ceiling as well as failing lathe and plaster other areas. There are old light fixturesattached to the ceiling boards indicating electicity.
