Missions Update: Cliffords: One of our missionary couples, Bob and Veronique Clifford, will be in the United States for a 3.5 month furlough this coming summer and are in need of a car to use the entire time. If anyone either has a good, safe and reliable car, or knows someone that does, please contact Hannah Filipiak, Tess or Pastor Tim at your earliest convenience. This would be a huge blessing to the Cliffords and greatly aide their work for the Lord during this strategic time in their ministry.

Sermon Notes – James 4:4-10

Brokenness and the Wisdom from AboveYouth Pastor Andy DresslerPrayer and Scripture- Elder Peter Richardson

Jonah 3:6 (ESV)“When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust.”

MEMORY VERSE:

Digging Deeper:

1. What does it practically look like to “weep, mourn, and be wretched” before God?2. How can this passage drive me to more meaningful “quiet times” with God?3. Review the following passages: Jonah Ch 3, Luke 18:10-4, Job 42:6, 1 Chronicles 21:16, and think about what a continued state of repentance looks like in your life.
