Report of Activities from January 2013

Many blessings to our beloved brothers and sisters of Cornerstone,

We are sending this first report of the year in order to strengthen our fellowship in Christ Jesus with you. The Lord recently allowed us to travel to Honduras and Guatemala for a mission trip. The first part of the trip, we traveled to the City of San Pedro Sula in Honduras and preached the Word to a very poor community on shore of a river. The buildings in that area were very unstable and we preached in a place that had only a couple of sheets as a roof. Three women from the surrounding houses overheard the Word of God that was being preached and came crying to where we were preaching to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Glory to God! God is so faithful and He allowed us to be part of His blessing to that place.

Our second part of the trip was to the municipality of Asuncion Mita in Guatemala. God allowed us to minister to a church there that was in big need of spiritual restoration. There was a lot of damage between members of the church and the pastor. God sent us there to give a word of forgiveness and restoration. It was very beautiful to see how they asked for forgiveness to one another and experience the work of God in their lives.

Also, we are trying to open another church in El Salvador in a place called Tacuba, which is about 45 minutes from Ahuachapán. It is a place with a lot of needs and sorcery/witchcraft is very prevalent there.

1. Please pray so that we can find a place for our church in Tacuba soon.2. Please pray for new sound equipment for our church, among other needs.
