We do worldwide chartering together with a close network of partners with North Europe and the Baltics as our specialty.

Stevedoring is handled at our own terminal with our dedicated stevedoring organisations, specialised in ro/ro and project cargoes. We discharge amoungst others 12.000 new cars every year, and handle oversize cargoes with weights up to 160 tons with own gear and port cranes.

In total we handle about 500 vessel calls every year.

Steel & Forwarding - Know How

We have made Fredericia Port the primary Danish hub for distribution of steel products in Scandinavia and North Europe.

In a close cooperation with our partners we tailormake the right transport solutions from producer to end user with own chartering and door to door transport know how.

We expedite approximately 200.000 tons steel every year by ship, rail and truck through our own dedicated terminal in Fredericia.

We handle all kinds of steel products including plates, coils, bars, wire rods and, -packages etc., up to 35 tons weight.

We are equipped to handle any steel job at our terminal with our own dedicated organisation and a considerable dedicated fleet of handling machinery, including forklifts from 2,5 to 32 tons of capacity, magnet handling machinery, 50 tons Reach Stackers, tugmasters etc.

Our terminal disposes over about 12.000 m2 isolated and humidity controlled warehouses for short and long term storage.

Container - Know How

We offer containerfeedering between Fredericia and Hamburg/Bremerhaven twice a week through Unifeeder’s direct calls at Fredericia.

As agents of Unifeeder we handle all matters in connection with container shipments via Fredericia, amongst others container feeder bookings, customs entry and exit formalities, veterinary formalities etc.

On the operational side, we also handle the weekly container feeder calls at Fredericia offered by MSC, CMA and GreenFeeder.

We operate a significant fleet of container chassis and trucks and offer a full range of container trucking to and from Fredericia.

FREDERICIA CONTAINER DEPOT is located ondock in the port of Fredericia on a 65.000 m2 fenced area with direct rail access. The depot offers storage, repair, cleaning, PTI etc. All container movements are monitored through the common EDI system PIC.

We handle about 70.000 teu annually over the pier in Fredericia and a daily average turnover of 400 containers in/out of the depot.

We offer stuffing and stripping and storage at our own general cargo terminal as well as lashing/securing of OOG cargoes.

Bulk - Know How

Our bulk terminal, FREDERICIA BULK TERMINAL, is one of Denmarks largest and most automated bulk terminals.

We manage 12 individual bulk storage compartments with a total storage area of 12.600 m2 and a storage capacity of about 70.000 tons of grain, feedstuffs, wood pellets, fertilizer etc.

All compartments have 6 m. pressure proof walls. The majority of the compartments have automatic top filling and semiautomatic emptying via underground conveyors. Filling and emptying capacity is typically 300 tons per hour. Automatic temperature control manages the airing of the products in the compartments so that the quality of the product is preserved under best possible storage conditions.

Through our own weigh bridge we ensure the best possible documentation and control of in and out take from the terminal.

We offer bagging via our own bagging lines in Fredericia and Grenaa of e.g. grain, fertilizer, wood pellets, salt etc. in 5-50 kgs plastic bags with a acapacity of approx. 1200 bags per hour.

We load 20’ ocean going containers with grain and we screen wood pellets prior to delivery or before bagging via our own silo batteries.

Vessel loading and discharging is performed via own ship loader or by crane grab with a capacity up to 600 ts per hour directly to and from the storage compartments.

Logistics - Know How

Via our own trucking company DKC-Transport, (DenmarkC-Transport), with own EUR4 trucks, we offer container and general trucking. We are certified for the transportation of foodstuffs.

We create logistical solutions in close cooperation with our Shipping, Steel, Container and Bulk activities based on one stop booking with a personal contact on all bookings.

We offer door/door solutions all over Europe with track and trace, warehousing and stock control.

Terminal Services Know How

Our cargo handling capabilities are organised in TERMINAL SERVICES.

We are 5 foremen and about 30 terminal employees in TERMINAL SERVICES. We are at your disposal 24 around the clock, every day of the year.

We offer about 18.000 m2 isolated terminal facilities for steel and other cargoes as well as 12.600 m2 bulk stores and about 80.000 m2 outdoor, fenced storage areas.

We manage a significant fleet of cargo handling machinery, including 6 x 50’ts Kalmar Reach Stackers, 1 x 25 ts SMV forklift, 8 x 16 ts SMV/Svetruck forklifts, 3 x VOLVO 120 frontloaders, 2 x Terberg tugmasters and a large number of smaller forklifts from 2,5-7 ts capacity, mafi-trailers etc.

Belvent:

Ejvind Aarlund Jensen started Bullerup Blikkenslagerforretning on 15/2 1966 first assignment was a spånudsug to a furniture factory. In April 1967 the company moved to the current address. In the autumn of 1985 the company bought the neighboring property, it contained besides the main house (property), a hall of 285 m2. Now it was the blacksmith shop which also installed a crane (trolley) and space so the trucks could vouch night.

D. 1 May 2005 took over Michael Nielsen Funen Total Service - Broby carpet cleaning. The company had the last 30 years has been owned by Svend Aage Jensen.

Michael Nielsen has previously worked for the largest cleaning company for 22 years, where he started at Odense Steel Shipyard in all kinds of cleaning of ships and oil rigs.

After 2 years, Michael Nielsen transferred to harm the service department, where all relevant courses in cleaning and damage control were reviewed. Moreover, he has undergone insurance academy test course in billing.

This was followed by eight years as chairman of damage control, 4 years as operator of Funen and 4 years as head of 6 branches in Funen and Jutland.

Thermography – a perfect tool

Scanel International A/S is ITC-certified (Infrared Training Center) to guarantee that our technicians are familiar with the qualitative requirements which must be met to present a diagnosis based on an analysis of infrared photographs. We offer and execute thermography for preventative maintenance purposes.

Thermography can be used to trace faults before shutdown occurs for example in machines, production plants or electrical terminal boards.
