ADMINISTRATIVE/LOGISTIC INSTRUCTIONS
The Italian Mine Warfare Forces Command (MARICODRAG) is located in La Spezia inside the Naval Base (viale Amendola 1).

Instructions for arrival.
Participants are required to make their own travel arrangements to and from MARICODRAG.
Airport: participants can arrive at Pisa or Genova airports. On arrival at the airport they may rent a car or travel by train to La Spezia. Travelling by car to La Spezia will take approximately 1.5 hrs from Pisa, 2 hours from Genova.
Train: La Spezia railway station is located in the city center and is connected to the Naval Base entrance by a regular city bus service. Timetables for the train can be found at www.trenitalia.com . Travel time from La Spezia to Pisa approx. 1.5 hrs. Timetable for bus is available at www.atcesercizio.it
Car: The recommended route is via “Autostrada A12”, exit at La Spezia / S.Stefano di Magra. At the end of the highway exit junction follow the direction to La Spezia. At the end of the motorway junction, pass 4 traffic lights; at the 4th traffic light turn left onto V.le Italia. Take Viale Italia to the roundabout and take the first right into Viale Amendola. About 50 meters after the intersection of Viale Italia and Viale Amendola on the left you will find the main entrance to the Naval Base.

Transportation from the hotel to the main gate of the naval base is at the responsibility of the participants. Most hotels in La Spezia are within walking distance to the the main gate of the Naval Base. Transportation from the main gate to MARICODRAG HQ will be granted.
A conference fee of 36 EUR (3 EUR per day) will be levied ( to be paid cash the first day of the conference).
Lunch will be available at Naval base mess. Cost will be 4,5 EUR per day (water included). (only for Monday to Friday)
The ice breaker on 30th August (approximately at 19:00) will be held at the Petty Officer’s Club. Cost will be 10,0 EUR per person.
Dress code for the exercise: daily working uniform / battle dress.
Registration on EGUERMIN website must be done not later than 27th July 2018.
Security clearance must be sent to MARICODRAG point of contact not later than 27th July 2018.
