Symptom
As of SAP Release ECC 6.0 (ERP 2005) the evaluation for the posting of payroll to accounting was adjusted to meet the current legal requirements by the International Financial Reporting Standards (IRFS). The corresponding functionality of the international payroll has not been localized yet for the country version India. This note aims to deliver the localization. Note: You have the option to either use the New GL Accounting functionality or continue to use the Classic GL Accounting functionality. In other words, you do not have to necessarily use this new function.

Solution
The NewGL HR Core solution offers the following methods of Cost Distribution to specify how the liabilities are to be handled within posting transfer Method 0: No distribution of liabilities Method 1: Posting liabilities according to Infotype (0001) Method 2: Distribution of liabilities according to expenses Method 3: Distribution of liabilities according to expenses taking the inflow principle into account Currently the NewGL HR core solution for Method 1 is generically available to all customers. The NewGL Core solution for Method 2 and Method 3 is not generically available to all customers. If you intend to use the method 2 or 3, kindly get in touch with the Local Product Manager. This note ONLY delivers the localizations specific to the India country version. It can be activated and configured for HCM part through the following IMG activity: Payroll => Payroll:India => Evaluation to post payroll results in accounting => New General Ledger: Distribution of Liabilities According to Expenses.
1. Activate the payroll function XLID in subschema IN00 => INE0, or through the Customizing activity "Cost Distribution With Function XLIDI (RPCIPE01)"
2. Set the type of distribution you want to use in view V_T52SWCODIST, or the Customizing activity "Define Type of Distribution"
3. Maintain the wage types you need in view V_T52POST_PAY, or theCustomizing activity "Enter Wage Types for Posting Payments"
4. Maintain the liability wage types in view V_T52LIDI, or theCustomizing activity "Expense-related Distribution of Liability Wage Types".
The following step is required only for option 3 (Distribution of liabilities according to expenses with inflow principle) of cost distribution (step 2 above). After following these steps, the NewGL should be able to generate inflow/outflow wage types for those

1. Maintain the liabilities, with their respective base, inflowand outflow wage type in view V_T52LIDIBASE, or the Customizing activity "Distribution of Liability Wage Types and Inflow Principle"
2. Uncomment the payroll function XLIDI at the subschema IN00 => INNR.
