Symptom

In Customizing, you want to set various transaction types to inactive. For some transaction types, the system issues error messages that prevent the inactivation:

1. Error message CRM_ORDER_CUST047: "Enter a valid number range interval"

2. Error message CRM_ORDER_CUST050: "Partner det. proc. does not match business object type of trans. type"

3. Error message CRM_ORDER_CUST059: "Enter a partner determination procedure"

4. Warning message CRM_APPOINTMENT062: "Date type "Actual Date" does not exist in the activity"

Customizing is missing or incorrect.

Solution

The options described below for correcting the error messages and warning messages are only recommendations. Customizing is not defined; instead, each customer is entitled to modify the changes and settings.

1. Error message CRM_ORDER_CUST047: "Enter a valid number range interval" Transaction types: CCR1, KNAR, KNAT, SDP

The definition of the number range intervals is customer-specific. If you do not use these transaction types and you only want to deactivate these, you can create the following intervals for example. Important: You must check whether you definitely do not want to use the transaction types. In this case, you must select the number range interval so that it corresponds to your business concept. Steps: Call transaction SNUM and select the relevant number range object. Then choose "Intervals". On the new screen, choose "Change Intervals" and there, create missing intervals for the transaction types:

l Transaction type CCR1 Number range object: CRM_CLACCR Interval number: 01 From number: 1000000000 To number: 1999999999 Current number: 1000000000

l Transaction type KNAR /KNAT Number range object: CRM_KA Interval number: 01 From number: 9000000001 To number: 9999999999 Current number: 9000000001

2. Error message CRM_ORDER_CUST050: "Partner det. proc. does not match business object type of trans. type" Transaction types: HTCB

Start the input help (F4 help) for the partner determination procedure and select one of the proposed partner determination procedures.

3. Error message CRM_ORDER_CUST059: "Enter a partner determination procedure" Transaction types: GCTR, PCTR

Start the input help (F4 help) for the partner determination procedure and select one of the proposed partner determination procedures.

4. Warning message CRM_APPOINTMENT062: "Date type "Actual Date" does not exist in the activity" Transaction types: CX01, CX02

Solution: This is only a warning message that you can confirm with Enter. After you do this, you can further process Customizing.
