(Preparation) Update the software of the machine to the latest version, and activate the Foiling function (Figure 1) on the machine. For details, refer to the instructions included with the kit.

The screen that appears differs depending on the model.

(1) Print out the "Actual-size layout pattern" on the last page. With scissors or a craft knife, cut along the black frame.

Please note: When cutting multiple materials with different thickness and hardness, do not cut them all at the same time. For the most accurate cut, separate your materials by thickness and hardness, and then cut by material type. This ensures that each cut is through the same thickness and hardness of material, resulting in a consistent cut.

(2) Cut out A through C.

(3) Attach C and the outside of the cutout to the low tack adhesive mat, place the layout pattern from step (1) on top, and then temporarily attach it. Scan using the background scanning function, and then align the data for foiling pattern C with the scanned image.

Since the outside of cutout C will also be used for positioning and foiling, do not throw it away.

(4) Remove the temporarily attached "Actual-size layout pattern", and then follow the on-screen instructions for foiling. (For details, refer to the instructions included with the kit.)

(5) Fold A along the dotted lines, and then glue the tabs to form a cylinder, as shown below.

(7) Glue the tag assembled in step (6) to the piece from step (5), and then tie ribbon around the twisted ends, as shown below.

[Actual-size layout pattern] Print out this page, and then use scissors to cut along the black frame. Since this will be used to position the foiling pattern, print it out at its original size, without enlarging or reducing it.
