    Project. A temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product ,service, or result .

    Deliverable. Any unique and verifiable product , result , or capability to perform aservice that is required to be produced to complete a process, phase, or

     project.Product. An artifact that is produced, is quantifiable, and can be either an end

    item in itself or a component item. Additional words for products are materiel and goods.

    Service. Useful work performed that does not produce a tangible product orresult  , such as performing any of the business functions supporting production

    or distribution.Result. An output from performing project management processes and activities.

    Results include outcomes (e.g., integrated systems , revised process ,restructured organization , tests, trained personnel, etc.) and documents (e.g.,policies, plans, studies , procedures , specifications , reports, etc.).
