JN Bhasin
10:00 to 6:00 Shri JN Bhasin Master
class on Prashna
Prashna is a unique and highly useful
branch of Vedic astrology. It is based on
the astrological chart constructed for the
moment of the query. The chart so
constructed reveals great details about the
mind of the querist, his problems and the
course of events pertaining to those
problems. The Prashna chart can reveal
such details as are not generally possible
from a study of the birth chart. Prashna is a
highly recommended tool of Vedic
astrology.
Shri Sharma will teach use of Hora and
Tajika Yogas in Prashna and many more
secret techniquesfor a successful prashna.
He learnt from Shri KG Dutta and then
further enhanced the knowledge through
his years of practice and teachings.
About Shri JN Sharma.
Shri JN Sharma is one of the great Masters
on Prashna and it is an honour that he has
agreed to do a masterclass for the Second
Fresh Talents Conference. He will be

Tarr, one of our faculty
Nakshatras are an integral constituent of Vedic
astrology. Original Vedic astrology was
Nakshatra based. The introduction of rashis is a
later development. Nakshatras are an important
limb of the Panchanga and find extensive use in
the Muhurta or electional astrology. All Vedic
festivals are based on either Tithis (lunar dates)
or Nakshatras or on Tithi-Nakshatra
combinations.
Unfortunately, Nakshatras have not received
the importance in predictive astrology that is
their due. There are myriad aspects of life that a
study of Nakshatras can unravel. An intelligent
application of an understanding of Nakshatras,
not only in Muhurta but also in natal astrology,
is highly recommended.
The workshop will deal with the nakshatras as
a whole, explaining their use in the Muhurta as
usual. But in addition explain how the
principles of Muhurta are so eminently
applicable to the natal chart. Dr Charak has
written many stories about the nakshatras,
extracting them from the various Puranas, he
would teach how inferences can be drawn from
the Puranic myths and applied to natal charts.
Part of it would apply to medical astrology too

06 October 2014 (Monday): New Delhi – Second Fresh Talents of Jyotish Conference Day 5
Vinay Aditya Master Class on Ashtakavarga: A Digital Technique for the Present Era.
10am to 6pm
Dr K S Charak (MS; FRCS) served as Head of the Dept of Surgery in ESI Hospitals in Delhi for nearly
twenty-five years. Presently, he heads the surgery department at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre.
Dr Charak has studied astrology for close to fifty years right from school days and has been
teaching for the last twenty-four years. He has written about ten highly appreciated books on Vedic
astrology, and published the highly technical and educative astrology journal, the Vedic Astrology, for
eleven years, from 1997 to 2007. He has lately got interested in the study of nakshatras on which he is
planning to write a book, based on the information not only in the Muhurta classics but also in the
Puranas.
Dr Charak is engaged in charitable work on a grand scale. He runs the non for profit
organisation called the Shri Onkar Singh Memorial Trust under the auspices of which he provides free
medical and surgical treatment to the poor and needy patients in rural areas, totally free of cost. He has
been running this organisation for the last fourteen years with the help of some of his highly dedicated
medical and paramedical friends, and has benefitted over fifty thousand patients by now.
The edifice of astrology rests on the
inter-play of planets in the backdrop
of the zodiacal signs. Ashtakavarga, a
unique gift of Vedic Jyotish to the
world of astrology, is the only
competent method which puts this
interplay into an inclusive system.
In this workshop the democratic basis
of the technique will be described and
its use in myriad situations will be
shown through example horoscopes.
How Ashtakavarga can bring teeth to
your predictions will be explained
through its transit and dasha
applications. Though traditionally it is
applied only on the birth chart but
actually speaking this method can be
applied to all kinds of charts, e.g.,
Divisional charts, Prashna charts or
Varshaphala charts. After all the
interplay of planets never ceases.
