The 1000 Miglia 2019 Warm Up USA will take place in Washington, DC from October 23rd to October 26th.

After one day of training concerning the techniques that distinguish regularity races, the first edition of the

Coppa USA will get underway, a competition of over 500 miles in full 1000 Miglia style, and which will end at

Villa Firenze, residence of the Italian Ambassador in Washington, DC.

For the first time 1000 Miglia s.r.l. is organizing a regularity race that will take place abroad.

The overall winner of the first edition of Warm Up 2019 – Coppa USA will be awarded with the inaugural Coppa

USA (the USA cup).

The 1000 Miglia partners for the event include the Italian Embassy in Washington, Alfa Romeo, Chopard, Alitalia

and Summit Point Motorsports Park.

The route:Leg 1From Middleburg to Creighton Farms

Departure from the centre of Middleburg heading north towards Summit Point Circuit. Lunch break at the Bavarian Inn, Resort and Brewing Company.Departure for Antietam, Gettysburg, passage to the Eternal Light Peace Memorial towards Creighton Farms and a stopover for the race dinner.Overnight stay at the Salamander 5* Resort and SPA, Middleburg.

The route:Leg 2From Middleburg, passing through Shenandoah National Park

Departure from the centre of Middleburg heading south towards Little Washington.Lunch break at the Montpelier's Visitor Center, the place where the Constitution of the United States of America took shape.Return to Middleburg through the Shenandoah National Park along the spectacular Skyline Drive.Overnight stay at the Salamander 5* Resort and SPA, Middleburg.

The route: Leg 3From Middleburg to Washing D.C

Departure from the centre of Middleburg towards Creighton Farms - with a break for breakfast - and route through Hillsboro and Harper's Ferry. Lunch break at the prestigious Congressional Country Club of Bethesda.Departure for the George Washington Memorial –Capitol in Washington D.C. and arrival of the race at Villa Firenze, the residence of the Italian Ambassador to the USA.Dinner and prize-giving ceremony.Overnight stay at the Fairmont Hotel Georgetown, Washington D.C. .

Veteran CrewsA crew is considered VETERAN when at least one driver has taken part in at least two 1000 Miglia races over the past seven years (from 2013 to 2019).

Novice CrewsA crew is considered NOVICE when both crew members have taken part in not more than one 1000 Miglia race over the past seven years (from 2013 to 2019).

Sports, Grand Touring or Super cars built from 1958 to present such as models from Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Mercedes, Ford (GT40), Maserati, BMW, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, AC, Chevrolet (Corvette), etc.

The Cars must be in their original configuration, thatis to say the one provided by the manufacturer for normal road use.

SUMMIT POINT, WEST VIRGINIA — Summit Point Motorsports Park will host the regularity race training day and a portion of the time trials during the race, as per program to be defined.Opened in 1969, this year the circuit celebrates its 50th anniversary and for several years hosted SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) and IMSA races have been held at track. Since the 1980s, the facility has been used extensively as a training ground for federal government agencies. Two additional road courses, Jefferson and Shenandoah, were added to the property in 1996 and 2004, respectively. The annual Jefferson 500 race is one of the most popular events on the circuit, which today attracts competitions for more than 200 vintage racing cars.
