t seems that light painting is a new term in our

mind. Actually, light painting is a new art of

photography by moving light. People

who do light painting are called light painters.

Light painting would help you to see other

parts of the world in the pictures. For example,

when people open up the shutter, they can see

the light movement in the dark by the special

effect of light painting.

could create their own photos with flashlights.

Instead of taking pictures, you could show

something new that the eyes have not seen

before. So, light painting likes lighting up our

wishes that we can now see our wish through

our eyes.

e decide light painting as our FYP because

people nowadays love photography and they

want to learn something new and interesting.

Based on this idea, we link lighting painting

with wishes. We hope that participants could

express their wishes and feelings through light

painting. So, we are working with the website

“Photography Tips for Beginners” to conduct

a campaign “ Light Up Your Wish” and we

organized series of activities based on this

theme. For example, light painting competition

and exhibition.

ome participants may think learning light painting

is very difficult. Instead, it is more easier than

learning traditional photograpgy. You just hold your

flashlights, draw what you wish and come with a

DSLR. After you learn these skills, you will find lots

of fun. Thus, we do enjoy doing our FYP.
