God is non-interfering. He does not choose for you.

Your destiny is your own creation. Every moment, you are writing your own painless or painful future through your

pure or impure thoughts, words and deeds.

The choices you make determine the species you

are born into, the span of your lifetime and the experiences you have.

Whatever you choose, choose with full awareness.

The end begins in you.



All your choices come through three modes:

Mode of DelusionMode of Ego

Mode of Purity



Through the modes of Delusion and Ego, you

repeatedly make ignoble choices. You choose

everything that is painful, impure, impermanent,

and non-Divine.



You choose impurity because you have

forgotten your Pure Self.

Your wrong knowledge, false sense of ‘Me and Mine’, attachments, aversions, and fears, all drive your impure choices. These impurities

cause your painful suffering.

How many of these impure choices do you make everyday?



Know this truth: You choose everything

consciously.

When you shout, you chooseto shout. When you abuse,you choose to abuse. When you gossip, you choose to gossip. When you cheat,

you choose to cheat.When you overeat, you

consciously chooseto overeat.



How do your impure choices increase your karmic burden?

Since you are ignorant of your true nature, you live only to chase pleasures. Through innumerable lifetimes, you have chosen to talk, eat,

sleep, and indulge yourself; full-time, without sincere self-purification or whole-

hearted devotion to God. You have harboured anger, greed, misery, impure desires, likes,

dislikes, traits, and habits. (cont.)



Your impure qualities have generated, and continue to

create, countless subtle impure impressions in your mind.

Since you have not removed them, your present physical body

is bound to these age-old, and new, impure karmic impressions.

These entrenched impurities dictate your impure choices, which further generate more

painful impressions. This cycle continues, ad infinitum, until you

Arise from desires

Are self-indulgent;satisfy your senses

Feed yourimpure Ego

Fuel dissatisfactionand cravings

Keep Godaway from you

Your Impure Choices

YourPure Choices



Do not make excusesfor your impure choices.Instead, choose to purify yourself so you can start

making wise choices.



Proactively choose Purity and work for it, continuously.



The pure choices you make NOW, have the potency to remove the effects of the impure choices you have

previously made.



Pashchataap and Prayashchitare mandatory for your Purity.

Your repentance for making impure choices should be full and sincere. This is

Paschataap.

Additionally, you must choose to commit yourself fully to not repeating your impure modes. This is Prayashchit.



Through the mode of Purity, you channelise your Intellect

and make noble choices, which guide you Godwards.



To purify yourself, remove one desire at a time.



Instead of Happiness, choose Equanimity.

Happiness is a desire.It is a pause between pain.

Equanimity is freedomfrom suffering.



What do you value more?Temporary material success

or permanent spiritual fulfillment?



You know fully well that you will lose all your money the

moment you die.Yet, you lose yourself every

moment for this money.

Are you choosing wisely?



More material quantitymeans less spiritual quality.



Your only pure desireis your yearning for God.



Purity is a two-fold practise:Remove the impure.Cultivate the pure.

Under no circumstance should you choose to bea satisfied slave to your

impure desires. Even God cannot free you if you are

happy in handcuffs.

Choose to CultivateThese Pure Qualities:



Choose to purify all your choices by following the

Yama and Niyama.

The Yama are five Indispensable Human Values that are required for your Purity. The Niyama are

five Spiritual Routines and Disciplines for you.

The Yama and Niyama are for your internal and external

purification. They are redemptive in nature. They have the power

to turn your wayward ship around, fully.



Adhere to the Five Yama.

1. Choose to not hurt any being, not even yourself, with your thoughts, words or deeds.

2. Choose to speak the truth kindly, without hurting another.

3. Choose to not steal another’s peace of mind, funds, ideas, rights, resources, IP, music, books, movies, software, tools, techniques, or time. Give credit to whom it is due. Give gratitude to all who provide continually for you. (cont.)



4. Choose to move closer to God by controlling your materialistic desires.

5. Choose to fully remove impure things, thoughts and emotions from yourself. Let nothing impure accumulate in your home, car, office, and phone. Dispassionately let go of all impurity.

These are the five Yama,the Indispensable Human

Values you must choose to continuously practise, should

Choose to follow the Niyama.

1. Practise internal and external Purity.

2. Cultivate pure joy through selfless love for the Lord.

3. Practise full control of your senses. Strengthen your will power through self effort.

4. Read spiritual books. Imbibe and practise their techniques with full faith, humility and earnestness. (cont.)



Chant the supreme Gayatri Mantra nine times during the day to illumine your Intellect and protect yourself from all impurity.

Choose the noble company of Seekers and those who know Pure Consciousness.

5. Give up your personal likes and dislikes. Choose God with steadfast devotion.

These are the five Niyama, the keystone of your pure practice.



Choosing to practise theYama and Niyama amounts to taking a Pledge of Purity.

Through Purity, comes Unity between your Thoughts,

Words and Deeds.

Through this Unity,you will experience

your inherent Divinity.



To stay rooted in theYama and Niyama, choose to cultivate four Pure Qualities:

True friendship with Seekers

Compassion for those who are unfortunate

Joy for another’s pure deeds

Benevolent indifferencetowards others’ impure deeds



Always remember:

God’s Grace has the power to burn away millions of

your impure impressions, in one go.

Intensify your Sadhana! Saturate your mind with pure love for the Lord.

Make all your choices with Him in your mind. Accept

all consequences asHis sweet gift to you.



When you choose to submit your reins to the

Lord, He willingly becomes your Eternal Charioteer. He lovingly guides you

towards Purity and ensures that you make only pure,

unbinding choices.
