for open heart surgery Tuesday, March 17;
t for Jay VandenBrink, who is into his 2nd week of
Dengue fever, as he recovers in Managua,
Nicaragua.
t for Chris and Barb Koning’s mother Linda, who is
recovering from surgery and other injuries. The
recovery will be long and slow so the family desires
your prayers.
t for a relaxing and fun month in Florida for Dave
& Judy Timmer and that Dave will feel good and be
able to remain off all cancer meds;

My family and I would like to thank everyone for the love and
support shown to us during Al’s illness and his transition to his heavenly
home. The cards, visits, food, and flowers were appreciated so much.
We also want to thank Pastor Gary, Sue and Pastor Matt for the many
visits and their participation in the memorial service. The love and
compassion they showed to Al, myself and our family was so special to
us. We are truly blessed to have them at our church. I also want to thank everyone who
helped with preparation for the service and luncheon. Parkside Bible Church has
always been very special to our family. I know Al would have been pleased by your
loving kindness in his memory.

project! We were able to send 17 packs of jackets, socks, blankets, towels, and
soap to our persecuted brothers and sisters in other parts of the world. Thanks

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY Join the group this Wednesday evening
at 6:30 p.m. for “The Grace by Which We Stand” taught by Harold Kimbel. The
class meets in Room A-3 in the new addition.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY! Plan to attend the women’s study with Kathy
Molenkamp from Grace Bible College tonight, March 15, in the sanctuary from 6-8
p.m. The topic is “Biblical Truths about God, Yourself and Others.” Invite your
friends, and enjoy some great fellowship and dessert following the study!
LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT FRIDAY, MARCH 20 All women are invited
to “Salad Buffet Night!” at Parkside this Friday, March 20, at 5:30. Stay for
simple games and fellowship afterwards. Sign up at the Women’s Ministry Counter
if you can attend. Questions, talk to Ginny Pete or Marge Jimmerson.
DINNER WITH THE SPYKERMAN’S There are still a few openings for dinner
at Pastor Gary and Sue’s home until April 30. The dinners are from 6:00-8:00 on
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3016 Tall Grass East Court in Holland (near 160th &
Quincy.) Please check the sign-up forms located at the Welcome Center. If you
would like to attend but there are not enough openings for your family, please
add your name to the blank paper located at the Welcome Center and you will
be contacted regarding a future date.
MEN AND WOMEN, A SUMMER GOLF LEAGUE FORMING Are you interested
in playing golf this summer in a church golf-league? We are checking to see what
interest we have in this. If you are interested in playing, sign up on the sign-up
sheet located at the Welcome Center. The league would be on Tuesday evenings
starting at 5:00 p.m. We would be playing at Pigeon Creek Golf Course and the cost
would be $14.00 a week to walk, $6.00 for a cart (Total of $20.00 per week with a
cart). The league would begin May 5th and run for 16 weeks every Tuesday evening.
What better place to enjoy the summer heat and warm weather than on the golf
course with friends! Invite a neighbor to be a part of this summer fun and sign up

GETTING TO KNOW PARKSIDE BIBLE CHURCH —MEMBERSHIP CLASSES OFFERED—
APRIL 12TH-MAY17TH
If you are new to Parkside or have been here for some time and have a
desire to become a member of the church, there will be a 6 week class,
beginning April 12. The class will be taught by Pastor Gary and will
meet during the Sunday School hour, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Sunday morning.
We will be going over the nuts and bolts of what makes PBC unique. If
interested, sign up at the Welcome Center or call the office at 399-
4410.
