As Vice-President of Jacobsen’s Flowers, on M-24 in Lake Orion, Brad has a long history of service to Northern Oakland County. Brad is known for being his fiscally responsible, holding the line on taxes, and putting public safety first. AFTER GRADUATING Michigan State, Brad returned to the community to manage his family business, Jacobsen’s Flowers. Following his service as an Oxford Township Trustee for 16 years, Brad was asked to run for Oakland County Commissioner to fill the seat of his father in law, the late William Patterson. Brad is the Oakland County Commisssioner and was appointed Republican Caucus Chair by his fellow commissioners. Brad has chaired the Oxford Water-Sewer Committee, the Oxford Fire Board, and was a member of the Oxford Emergency Safety Authority. AS A BUSINESSMAN, Brad has chaired the Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Past President and active member of the Oxford Rotary. He is member of Oxford United Methodist Church and of the local Elks and Eagles Clubs.
