ASSETS
• The trees surrounding certain spots of a park or parkway to provide shade from the sun.
• Amazing views of a park or the river. As well as a view of Brooklyn Bridge and lower Manhattan.
• The sun at certain parts is good, for example, sitting by the river because it cancels out the cool breeze from the water with warm air.
• Bike Lanes as well as Bike shops provide for a better circulation of pedestrians and vehicles whether it is within parks or out in the driveway.
• A small plaza, and open spaces for restaurants can be a great place for people to stop by and rest, which in return improves circulation by letting other pedestrians move around.
• Although railroad tracks can be considered a liability, they can be considered an asset as well due to the views on gets from where they are located. Basically, the sounds of the trains cancel out with the view of the city.

OUR NEXT STEP …
««This is a bad area for circulation, for our class was in the way of people that may want to pass. Such as a couple with a carriage tried to and were forced to push their way through us. (large groups)
Instead of having a huge »»open space for walking, there should be 2 different lanes,. one for walking and a bike lane
«« This is a good example of good circulation, for there is a sign describing what things are which way and points at the lanes.

There should be a small fence or obstacle of some sort separating these two lanes to allow bike users to pass through.
A young woman was lost so she pulled out her phone to show her where she should go. Instead of her wasting time taking out her phone and searching, there should be signs for bike riders telling them where they are headed.
There should be a sign telling people that going to the left will lead them out the park, while going to the right will lead them to a carousel.

CLIMATE STRATEGIES
• Topography is the main factor that affects
climate through circulation
Plants that invite a warm feeling should be placed in
open spaced areas
Go Green!
Open spaces that gain a lot of sun during the winter
should have plants and gardening so people are
inclined to go there.
Attraction should be drawn to the waterfront during the
day, when it exhausts heat; winter time. Distraction!

OUR NEXT STEPS . . .
• The next step in research should be to observe what areas and
places should be altered with during climate changes.
• A day, and time should be set aside so research and work can
be done together by group member’s. *Correspond ideas
with each others.*
• All information should be gathered at least two days before
the deadline, and put together for reviewing.
• Meet before or after class to discuss important tasks to be done.
• Contact each other on a daily basis as needed, and if help is
needed, no excuses.
