VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP WITH
MARATHON EVENT THIS SATURDAY!
The 26.2 mile Holland-Haven Marathon will be held this Saturday beginning
at 7:30 a.m. starting from our church parking lot. We are looking for 24 adult
or youth volunteers to take a morning shift passing out water at the water
stations. Please sign up to help at the Youth Counter or talk to Pastor Matt.
PIONEER CLUB REGISTRATION! Pioneer Clubs will start up on Wednesday, September 10.
We encourage you to sign up your children at the Pioneer Clubs table the Fellowship Hall today.
If you’d be interested in helping the youth group in their fundraising efforts, bring your returnable cans and bottles to the church. Just put them outside the secretary’s door and we’ll save you a trip to the store to return them plus you’ll be helping support our youth ministries! Also you can pick up a Holland newspaper from the front entranceway and support youth missions. The cost
is any donation!
We’re in need of a few more teachers and helpers for Children’s
Church! Helpers can be age 11 and up. Children’s Church meets
during the service with kids dismissed before the sermon. Lesson
plans are available. Please sign up at the Children’s Ministry

FELLOWSHIP COFFEE NEXT SUNDAY!
Join us next Sunday (Sept. 7) in the Family Life Center at 10:15 a.m. and enjoy coffee and
baked goods while you visit with your church friends! The following ladies are scheduled to

GUEST SPEAKERS Our guest speaker today is Dr. Henry Hudson, who
was born in England, served with the Royal Military Police in Italy, and was
pastor of Calvary Chapel in Massillon OH for 30+ years. Next Sunday our
guest speaker will be Brett Chapman, a missionary candidate with GMI, who
plans to work alongside other missionary families in Nicaragua to help plant
a church and teach Bible classes.
MENS WEDNESDAY MORNING FELLOWSHIP Join others from the
church for fellowship, prayer and coffee every Wednesday morning at
6:30 a.m. Come when you can and leave when you must!
PARKSIDE MEMORIAL CLASSIC FOR MISSIONS Our annual golf
scramble will be held on Saturday, October 4, at Crestview Golf Course
starting at 9:00 a.m. Get a team of 4 together or sign up alone and we’ll
find other team-mates for you! The cost is $49 per person. Registration
forms are available at the Youth Counter.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS Harold Kimbel will be teaching a new
adult Sunday School class beginning September 14 at 9:30 a.m. The title is
“Left Behind-The Book of Hebrews.” Please plan to attend and invite your
friends to be part of this class. (We are looking for more volunteers to teach classes at Parkside so if you feel lead to do so, please contact Jay Riemersma or Mike Cooke.)
