Funny girl is one of the most popular movie musicals every made, and follows the early life of stage comedienne Fanny Brice, a role originally made famous by Barbra Streisand earning her a Tony and Oscar award. As our show opens, only Fanny’s mother believes she can make in on Broadway and when Fanny gets her first break in Keeneys Music Hall, it is clear that she is not very similar to her fellow showgirls and has a long road ahead to become the greatest star on Broadway.Set in New Set in New York, our show opens with the now successful Fanny Brice, awaiting the return of her husband, gambler Nick Arnstein. Fanny reflects on her journey to stardom and the love of people she had along the way and takes us on a journey down memory lane with her.
