This is the last Sunday of 2012. Praise God for his grace to us this year

Pray for Colton Friesen. He has been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. Pray for strength for the family

Pray for Aaron Wiebe. He had surgery recently and has been recuperating, but now doctors have discovered some blood clots in one leg and in his lungs. Pray for strength and for healing

As a church, let’s remember to pray for each other and encourage each other in our faith

Pray for our communities that we will be a blessing to them

Pray for people who are struggling with ongoing illnesses over the holiday season

Pray for the teaching and preaching ministries of the church, that the Sunday School, the men and women’s ministries, the bible studies and sermons preached at LEMC would be to God’s glory

3ANNOUNCEMENTS

Marriage Preparation CourseIf you are not married, and are planning on being married someday, this is a course you will want and need to take. The purpose of this course is to help couples develop and connect emotionally and have a solid Godly marriage. This course will start in January 2013. It will run Saturday evenings. The cost will be about $30-35 per couple. Also individual singles can take the course as well; however the cost is the same. Please sign up on the sheet in the foyer. COMING EVENTS

Men’s Bible StudyOn Tuesday, January 15th an 8 week men’s bible study on the book of Acts will start. It will run on Tuesday nights from 7-9pm with a coffee break in between. The group will not be larger than 12 men and the leader. If more than 12 men are interested, a second group will start right after this one is finished. The study is free. Every man will be required to either read through the book of Acts, or listen to it on CD or online and come to each class with questions and insights learned from that week’s reading or listening.
