An A indistudent works independently w/unusual effectiveness & often takes the initiative in seeking new knowledge outside the formal confines of the class.
B= 80% - 89% Denotes achievement considerably above acceptable standards; good mastery of material is evident; student performdemonstrates a high degree of originality and/or creativity. B indicates that the student works well independently; often demonstrates initiative; analsynthesis, & written critical expression are considerably above average.
C= 70% - 79% C is the grade that is expected of a student of average ability and who gives to the work a reasonable amoun t of time/effort.
