What is the Law Enforcement Sharing Program (LEISP)?LEISP is a strategy to ensure DOJ law enforcement information is shared with other federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies.

What is the OneDOJ System? OneDOJ operates with two primary objectives:•to serve as DOJ’s system to share criminal law enforcement information internally across investigative components•to provide regional criminal law enforcement connectivity for authorized users to conduct federated searches of OneDOJ information as governed by the respective Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)The system is governed by the LEISP Coordinating Committee (LCC), which is responsible for developing and implementing policies and methods for achieving a comprehensive Department-wide information sharing strategy.

The OneDOJ System is hosted at the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) data center and is used to achieve the goals of OneDOJ.

What is the Relationship between OneDOJ and N-DEx? OneDOJ will be the anchor point for federated sharing designed for DOJ users. When N-Dex is fully developed, the vision is that the OneDOJ regional connections will be transitioned to N-DEx enabling regional system users to query OneDOJ data via N-DEx.
