Fast annotations

Three colored buttons turn on the pen and switch colors (for some reason, the color starts as black the very first time you press a button).

Press Esc (on the keyboard or next to the screen to get the cursor back)

Or stay in pen mode at all times and use controls on bottom left

Adding slides on the fly

Press “ins” button on the bottom far right New slide will appear after current slide Title will be old title + “(comments)” Try it yourself (read next slide first)

Caveats

Always save this as a powerpoint with macros (.pptm file extension)

Allow powerpoint to run macros If you want to keep the annotations, say yes to

saving when prompted when exiting presentation mode (not an option with the current Mac version)

If you want to keep the new slides, don’t forget to save after the presentation is done
