SAT (I) Reasoning– Three sections include: Critical Reading,

Math, and Writing– Juniors should be registered to take in

March, May or June 2014 (deadline for registration is approx. 1 month before test date)

– Scores in Critical Reading and Math need to equal 1200 for competitive colleges, 1400 for highly competitive colleges

– Rising Seniors can/should retake the SATs in October, November or December of 2014

– Prep courses and review books are highly recommended (Revolution Prep, Princeton, Kaplan, private tutors + Shmoop!)

– Fee waivers are available for those who qualify

each– Students cannot take both SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject tests

Most of the Notre Dame faculty submit their recommendations electronically, however, if the teacher will not be completing the recommendation online, students must provide an addressed and stamped business envelope for each recommendation request and allow at 3 weeks for completion
