CPR Policy
HS 7310 Staff License/CPR Verification/Certification
The CPR card must be either:
a. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider or
b. American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
•No other certificate for CPR Training will be accepted
(i.e. ProCare)
•Skills demonstration portion of the class must be part of the coursework.
American Red Cross Digital CertificatesThe American Red Cross has begun using Digital Certification, an online version of a Red Cross certificate or card that is available at the completion of the class.
To access the digital certification:
•An email is sent after the class to each individual with a link to the digital certificate
•Print the certificate and employee should share it with their department rep at the time of renewal
•Or, employee can visit, www.redcross.org/getcertificate
•Provide first and last name, zip code where class was held and last date of class

The original card stock
wallet size cards or the
digital certificates are
both acceptable forms
of verification for CPR
completion.

Evercheck Reminders
All departments have now been given invitation to enter license and certification information to automate renewal process.
If your dept. missed the deadline to complete the process:
•Email Jonny Dieb/Debby Brown in HR with name of who will be the Evercheck User and applicable cost centers
•Evercheck Access will be provided with instructions for entering credential information
•Trainings will be scheduled to offer options of what Evercheck can do for you, i.e. reports, notifications, exceptions, screen shots of Board renewals
