II. Natural and anthropogenic variability of the Baltic environment
I. Ocean impact on climate and climate change consequences in European seas
III. Contemporary changes in ecosystems of shelf sea coasts
IV. Genetics and physiology of marine organisms; the basics of marine biotechnology
Study problems (e.g.)
- Radiation fluxes in the sea - atmosphere system.
- Energetics of primary production.
- Mass transfer by aerosol emission.
- Thermohaline circulation in the Nordic Seas.
- Climate change effects in the Arctic ecosystems.
14. Genetics variability change in the exploited marine animal species.
15. Physiological mechanisms in organisms functioning in the marine environment.
16. Regulating processes in the marine bacteria cells and their biotechnological potential.
- Genetics variability in the marine animal species.- Regulating processes in the marine bacteria cells and their biotechnological potential.
- Anthropogenic substances and their transport through bio-geo-chemical barriers- Chemical and biological markers of anthropogenic stress.
