5. InstallationPreparatory WorkField MeasurementsVerify actual dimensions by field measurement before fabrication. Indicate all recorded measurements on shop drawings.Coordinate field measurements and fabrication schedule with construction progress. Submit drawings showing layout, profiles and product components, including anchorage, accessories, finish colors and textures. Include details showing thickness and dimensions of various system parts, fastening and anchoring methods, locations of joints and gaskets, and location and configuration of joints necessary to accommodate thermal movement. Submit selection and verification samples for finishes, colors and textures.

Delivery and StorageDeliver product in manufacturer's original, unopened, undamaged containers with identification labels intact. Panels are protected by heavy removable film during production and packaged for protection during transportation. Store materials protected from exposure to harmful environmental conditions, frost-free and at temperature and humidity levels recommended by the manufacturer. Exercise care in unloading, storing and moving to prevent bending, warping or surface damage.

Remove any damaged or deteriorated material from the job site.

MethodsShop fabricate as indicated on the drawings. Follow manufacturer's detailed installation instruction procedures. Complete instructions are available from Unience USA or online: http://alfrexusa.com/bbs/content.php?co_id=eng_installation.

InstallationInstall panels plumb, level and true, in compliance with fabricator’s recommendations.Anchor panels securely in place, in accordance with fabricator’s approved shop drawings.Comply with fabricator’s instructions for installation of concealed fasteners and with provisions of Section 07 90 00 for installation of joint sealers.

PrecautionsColor variation may occur between panels due to varying coil batches. All panels for the same project must originate from the same batch. To avoid possible reflection differences, it is imperative to install the panels in the same direction marked on the protective film. Installation Tolerances: Maximum deviation from horizontal and vertical alignment of installed panels is 0.25 inch (6.4 mm) in 20 feet (6.1 m), non-cumulative.
